BLT is Yuli Fershtat (32), a musician and a student in his final year of Chinese medicine.

With 2 albums behind him (released on Krembo & HOMmega) and a multitude of compilation tracks, BLT is the voice of different trance music. He delivers music that is both intelligent and emotional. Electronic dance music that appeals to the mind and heart. Trance that manages to be psychedelic, progressive, melodic and above all - groovy as it gets!

Staying true to the trance spirit, BLT is one of the few established artists still playing regularly in all the underground nature parties in Israel (almost the official artist of the Israeli trance underground movement).

He’s been relentlessly released in the last two years in a multitude of labels in Israel and Europe (among them: HOMmega, BNE,

Uphonic (Holland), Iboga (Denmark), Phonokol, USTA & more).

He’s also been working lately with master drummer Danny Makov, one of the best drummers in Israel. Together they deliver a floor shaking live act the likes of which haven’t been seen yet on the trance dancefloors. They also worked together on few tracks, among them a remix to Swedish masters Ticon great hit – “We are the Mammoth Hunters”.

Now Yuli is releasing his third album – “God is Love” (HOMmega)(together with a vinyl released through the esteemed Iboga label from Denmark) and it surpasses all his previous creations.

The album contains a diverse offering of music that touches many stylesbut always stays groovy and intelligent and in the same time irresistibly danceable as he had proved consistently on various dancefloors in the last year.

In this album he also hosts uprising star - Cosma for the storming Global Spirit, drummer Danny Makov in the killer track - The Calling and remixes Psycraft’s big hit – Bizzare.

Track List:

1. Monolith

2. The Calling (Callback mix)

3. Global Spirit (with Cosma)

4. Froggy Business

5. God is Love

6. She's My Baby

7. Nonsense (No Nonsense mix)

8. Bizarre (Remix for Psy Craft)

9. Back to Basics

All these together manage to melt into an album with a concept that is fun to listen to at home, great to dance to at a party and all with amazing sound and production.

The album was mastered by Viet Wayman, who worked with Oliver Shanti on different projects and was especially flown to Israel for mastering this unique album.

I've heard their first album, which seemed a bit unbalanced to me and the guy seems to have some odd harmonics in his bassdrum and bassline.

I heard some stuff on compilation from him and most of the time they were among the worst songs.

I hope this is a lot better. I wanna be pleasantly surprised as in the case of Psydrop.

This has to be one of the best albums of the year.

BLT is one of the only acts I know that manage to make an excellant compromise between the progressive and melodic genres.

If you haven't heard this album yet, you don't know what you are missing.
