Guest djnemo Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Have you guys seen Man on Fire with Denzel washington? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328107/ At one point in the movie, he goes to a "rave" in mexico city, where they are playing mainly PsyTrance. I think I heard some Alien Project or GMS in there, and also other tracks. Kind of funny, that scene, watch it if you have a chance The movie is so and so.... Quote

Charlie Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I've never seen a movie with psy-trance but we have a motorcar TV show here in the UK called Top Gear produced by the BBC and that sometimes features psy-trance, indeed they've played tracks from Juno Reactor's Labyrinth on more than one occasion. Oopie Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 In XXX (the vin diesel movie) Orbital is playing their magnificent "Technologicque Park". http://www.discogs.com/release/479373 it's more of a classical/techno combination. Quote

Ktrance Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 About a month ago I saw a program on discovery channel, it was about the international spacestation I think. Suddenly they played Atmos, very nice, the track was Atmos and friends - three orange lights if I remember correctly. Peace Quote
Ormion Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 I saw a japanese movie once where two guys were walking in front of a cd shop and the music inside the store was Pleiadians-Alcyone! Don't know the movie's title though. Quote
SkeletonMan Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 I'm putting my other post here as well. What about Wesley Snipes in Blade. The theme from that one is Pump Panel's Confusion. Not psytrance off course http://www.discogs.com/release/81724 but ... well, electronic ... and stuff. Are you gonna ban me now forever from psynews ...? Quote

TRiBEofFRoG Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Thinking about it, psytrance in films, it sort of completes the circle. Loads of psytrance tracks feature samples from films. What would be really weird would be a film with a psytrance track in it that has a sample from the same film. Quote

astralprojection Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 bump the film Pusher (denmark) has a track from koxbox. It might be fuel on, dont remember of the top of my head. Quote
astralprojection Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 57 minutes ago, Parasphere said: It is Fuel On indeed. One of the best tracks on Distance To Goa 4, too bad it wasn't the track in its entirety due to the DJ-mix. It's shortened circa 1 minute. Still great old school Goa style DJ Mix so that makes up for it. A good example of how they used to mix manually, before the more automatic DJ players/mixer features we see today where invented. its a good one. i had it in my tape deck when at arvika 2003 (or was it 2004) so it was part of the mood at the tents for sure Quote
