Daniël
yay! I got S3D max this afternoon. That app kicks butt! I think i'm in love! Here's some of the stuff I made today exploring the posibilities. I can't believe i wasted all this time trying to code algorithms in ultrafractal to use it as a 3D drawing tool which is almost impossible for me cause i lack knowlegde of maths. S3Dmax does the same in windowinterface and easy to use. These are screenshots of animations. 3D render with S3DMAX +additional FX in afterFX. null
you can use mel scripting and c++ together for really neat iface stuff.. maya is more commonly used (industry standard: used in lotr )but is alot harder to use with flash production and web development stuff like this guy's website. http://billybussey.com so i guess it depends on what you're doing really... they're all g0od. you have made some nice pictures though daniel. good job ! :-D
RAH
not too mention Maya costs a bit more than four seater sedan... but hey... cool stuff you have here, i would stick to learning those first before moving on..
Daniël
made a new one, i've been creating tons of animations, but i can't post those an di'm too lazy to start making screenshots. I was trying to make something completely different when i made this one.
Daniël
edited in photoshop. more contrast and a background. background is made in Zbrush 2 Too bad i can't apply this on the animation . It might work in adobe aftereffects though.... ps: i've been using 3Dmax for about 1month and 9 days now. It's an incredible program. I'm addicted! Too bad i didn't think about it sooner. :(
