Aeros Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 The amateur goa and psytrance community online suffers abit from being spread too thinly over too many websites and pages and not getting enough attention from goa/psy heads - always getting trumped by trance or some other genre of music that the fanboys will swamp over to http://www.acidplanet.com/music.asp?M=0&T=2417 There is one site called Acidplanet which is a friendly enough place for producers to put up their music. You'll notice immediately that there is alot of music on there from virtually every genre. In addition the majority of the people there are producers, mainly amateur but also some pros. The good part about that is that when people critique your music they know what they are talking about usually and can offer more than just "I like it" or "I don't like it". There is abit of a psy/goa community over there which I've inevitabely become a part of simply due to putting my music on there when I first joined 2 years ago. However, the community could definately be bigger and definately have more listeners. Theres some really good music there, hang around for abit and see which names get the most attention, you'll be bound to hear something you haven't heard before. So this is my call to make acidplanet aware to Psynewsers or vice versa - if you have an Acidplanet page, link it here and I'll make a list. If not, what're you waiting for? There are no anoying limits like other sites have and you can upload as many of and as much as you want, might as well collect your music in one place to show. I will start off the list and reorganize it as more people add to it.
