Guest --==MileS==--
The next Shpongle... If one person can reanimate the scene it is Simon P. That lad was already bored to tears with trance after the Lone Deranger. All those LSD gurus and hippies should sit together and think of a psychedelic concept that matters and make the Umma Gumma (Pink FloyD)/White Album (BEatles) of Goa... No rules...throw in every weird instument, vocal or sound...and make it work...Shpongle's Tales was nice but too inconsistent in the actual song writing...2 many weak tracks... I don't have faith in psytrance acts...a conservative bunch doing the same trick for years...
Guest Lurk
have you ever thought of making your own music, miles ? all you ever do is moan about everyone else's, perhaps you maybe able to do better yourself, or maybe its about time you found something else entirely to listen to :-)

Guest --== MiLeS ==--
Any suggestions, Lurk? If I encounter something better than Psy or Psy ambient I am outta here but no other genre or artist could bribe me into their territority since 1995 and I've yet to find something as pleasing as ...Are U shpongled?... or IFO for that matter...I still consider myself a goahead, so there... although I drift more and more into ambient territory... As far as making my own...The only instrument I can play a bit is drums and african percussion, I am no reason or tracker wizard...Got a fulltime job and some freelance stuff going on so time is a bit valubale. Guest Lurk
I don't know what to suggest to you, dude... having read your posts you really don't seem to like much in the way of dancefloor stuff... but things that i have liked a lot thats been released this year are : Rastaliens album, logic bomb album, unusual suspects compilation; fractal glider album; mr peculiar album; electronic high 2 comp; full-on 6 comp; conspirators of pleasure comp; stone age freak factory comp... thats just the highlights of the full on stuff from this year, I've even begun to like some of the more prog releases as well. I can appreciate you liking the stuff from 1995 more, I was into the music then as well and it was a truly magical time... *but*, nothing stays the same forever, and if the music hadn't moved on since then we'd all have been sick of it by now, so one is left with no other choice when it comes to high octane dance music, you either have to like it or leave it. Guest bugbread
Or listen to stuff from Finland. Mad mad stuff they have over there (but MiLeS is actually one of the people that directed me in that direction, so it isn't very helpful advice)
