X-scream
reviving this one, since we're talking about bad production why not good production? I would like to name one album in particular: Pigs in Space! The production is near perfect, big phat kicks, crystal clear metallic sounds. The music is good not spectacular (with a few exceptions) but the production certainly raises the listening experience!
madpup
Freq's production is amazing, it really shines through during a live set. Also a couple of other standouts for me as other people mentioned here are The Delta and Astrix.

Tox
no1 here likes the Ticon-sound? I don't own a huge hifi-setup but on my discman it tickles my eardrum... Freq does the same but probably I need more high-ens equipment to participate in the debate. In the melodic-department I want to mention Dino Psaras' Lick it-album too... Or is it just inherent to prog-music (my fav) to have better production-standards cause the emphasis is on making just a coupple of sounds work well together rather than creating a bass-monster or layering 4 melodies on-top of eachother? (this is a question not a remark!)
Guest Rain
there are so many good production I can't give a list... what is a fucking good thing... most cd are well produced off course... what a shame it would be if it wasn't
