bomble Posted December 13, 2001 Share Posted December 13, 2001 I am not too sure exactly how many of my discs would be classed as trance, but approximately 200 trance, 60 chillout & 50 other electronica or world music. Of that lot, about 70 are not originals and are on cd-r (whenever I couldn't get hold of them or they were deleted). I don't really have any mp3 though I sometimes download them to get a feel for a new artist. I have about 400 - 500 psychedelic trance CDs, about half of which are with me in Holland, the other half of which are at home - with my 400 or so non-trance CDs [mostly industrial, dub and electronica]. When I'm stable [ie, working and living in my own apartment], I usually get between 15 and 20 psy CDs and about 10 psy 12" a month. I avoid MP3s at all costs - I'm a DJ, so they're useless to me. And a few mp3s, maybe 70. I like my old classic albums, listen to them quite often. Actually I don't appreciate the new trends of Psy music a lot. I do not have any mp3 or mpr cd's. i think they suck and are a waste of time. I would bnuy maybe 2 -4 cd's a motnh, and have been collecting for about 1 year now!
