Guest Baboon
Massimo Vivona - 001 Artist: Massimo Vivona Title: 001 Label: Global Trance Network Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 09'08" Isolation 02. 06'22" Electric Sailing 03. 08'49" Kontakt 04. 09'41" Afrika 05. 09'08" The Junior 06. 08'17" Love In Paradise 07. 09'34" Secret 08. 09'39" Back To The Sound Review: A pretty cool album, very wierd tracks... a bit unusual maybe...but, is'nt that good?? I for sure think so. This album is very nice, The tracks are very melodic... but still not israeli... or is it?? I don't think so? I'm not really good in naming all sounds :-) some tracks might seem a bit soft, maybe for chill outing?? :-) depends on what you like... anyways...this album deserves an 7/10, worth checking out if you want something good and a bit different in your collection. I must say that the last track, "Back To The Sound" is the coolest track... very happy uplifting trance vibes. Enjoy!!!
GaySatanicHippie
The first 3 or 4 minutes of Isolation are 11/10, then it gets lost in 303 weirdness, to bad. Whenever I hear the beginning of that track I picture a lizardman who is out on the town to rape innocent Virgins. Very creepy and sleazy. The other good track is "Secret", and this one is good throughout, very cool flute and beat. These two tracks are very good, the rest is average, if its worth it, you decide. AutoMath
Just as the person above wrote before me: Massimo Vivona is the original innovator whom everyone have copied. Massimo is to techno what timbaland is to modern r'n'b. Respect where respect is due. Check out his old productions on his labels headzone and groundgroove if you still can find anything lying around. Too bad that a lot of people into the scene today know hardly anything about the past. Everyone's raving about the digital structures boys (no diss, love your stuff boys) but no one has heard of massimo vivona.
