Guest Goastomp9
In my opinion this album is a great party album. I've heard most of these songs at numerous events. track 1 starts out the album with some nice sounds... i def hear that GMS plays a huge role in the music making. track 2 is prob my favorite track on the CD, i heard this one at synthetic Sadhus in NYC and it was amazing. track 3 is full on and i'm a sucker for psy with guitars. musically i think track 4 is good but i'm not too into the voice samples, kind of cheesy for my taste. track 5 is OK...very clubby sounding...great sample though . 6 is very good, reminds me of something from movers and groovers, could be a bit longer though. track 7 is very chill compared to the other tracks, the flute really does it for me! i remember the 1st time i heard salvia divinorum, this track really stands out and is prob one of my favorite psy tracks of all time. the CD ends with dmt...great track but again, i'm not crazy about the sample choices...i admit that the matrix is a great movie but enough already! as far as the whole drug thing i don't understand why so many people like to pretend things aren't what they are...wake up!! its psychedelic music and i'm not ashamed of any substance use i partake in and its nice to see that there's music out there embracing these lifestyle choices. drugs are fun and so is this album! 10/10 on lsd 8/10 on magic mushrooms 7.5/10 on some nice kind bud 8.5/10 on ecstacy 6/10 on salvia 8/10 straight
garraeth
All these reviews are all over the place. Last week I was on DC++ (yeah sorry) and was randomally picking stuff and saw 1200 Mics was all over the place, so thought: "...what the heck...". Personally I really like this. I like the "cheesy" samples (as some of the previous reviews described them as), I like the full-on, I like the drug themes...it reminds me of the Matrix when the dood with the chick with the white rabbit on her arm talks about mescaline. After a couple listens, I'm giving this one a 8.5/10. 8.5 because I'm not groovin' to every track just yet. But I'd suggest this one is you like full-on. Guest Nalin
haha, Garraeth, DC Hub kicks ass; anyways not a bad album at all; the only bad things i think you can say about this album is the cheesy theme with cheesy track names and/or the cheesy vocal samples and even these two things can be a good thing depending on how you wish to look at them - sucky if you are ultra serious but a welcome diversity if you're just trying to have some fun; the instrumentals are fullon all the way which is a good thing
Guest Dr G
Firstly, I find it bizarre that this album should get a recommended rating when acknowledged classics from Doof, Fractal Glider, Double Dragon, and many others are not given a recommended rating. Most of the albums that are rated on this website do deserve their rating, but this record hardly deserves what is denied to better albums that have stood the test of time. Secondly, having said that, it is not a bad album and certainly goes down a treat on the dancefloor, as does all the gms stuff. In fact, I have to admit being somewhat confused about gms as an act; sometimes they produce the goods in spectacular fashion, but quite often their tracks are pretty predictable, and I've noticed that I often prefer their Zorba incarnation in which they seem to be freer to improvise. All of the tracks on this album are pretty similar, but personally I think that the "magic mushrooms" track is the best - a nice mellow feel on this track with a trippy atmosphere. Some of the voice samples are rather lame, and I find it hard to believe that Raja Ram couldn't have played more flute on this album along with finding better samples. 7/10 ~*~
Ormion
Totally overrated release IMO. Morning cheesy ful on and nothing more, but I guess it's a hit because it was one of the first of its kind. The only track I enjoy is Ecstasy which is more trancey than psychedelic but nice one. 6/10 maybe less
sleepingzombie
I didn't know GMS or the two guys behind this project ... in the beginning I just picked it up because the titles of the songs aroused my curiosity I liked it. It is well produced and it has good melodies. Sometimes it's cheesy, but I like the "side-feature" that you can play this on a dancefloor to introduce more dreaming moments while keeping also people dancing. Bubble Wrap
not the best psy cd but a pretty good one had a lot of memorable tracks My only problem was that the tracks could have been longer other than that hashish and mescaline rulz 9/
Goa Bill
Classic album, easily on my top10 favorite full-on albums. Back in the days when full-on was still a bit cool. Best and the last good effort from the Banzi und Riktam imo. It all went down the shitters afterwards. This one gets 9/10 from me.
Sawfly
It's pretty good, but the samples are just awful imo. I don't mind if I hear it somewhere once a year or something.

abasio
I actually really like this. Sure it is cheesy as cheese can get: the drug samples should be something to be ashamed of but somehow it adds up to a great album. It's cool, it's funny, it's stupid, it's great. Sawfly
This was one of the first psytrance album I ever heard and it's a wonder I even agreed to listen to more of it as this album blows pretty fucking hard. No balls at all, just generic shit that gets boring after listening to just one song. It's not really that bad though but it offers no kind of reward when listening to it so it's basically just background noise. The samples ruin everything beyond comprehension. I can't understand what sort of people thought it would be a good thing at all. Perhaps this is just a joke to see if people are willing to swallow anything.
