Mergi
We're talkin' pulsing morning frequencies, and psychedelic effects... SRange opens with Re Entry, a pure morning pulsing beat machine, nice and melodic, also a small guitar sequence is hinted at various points in the track. Yellow base is just very repetitive, steady beat with some twisted effects, get's better in the end. Reality Check is more psychedelic, nice soothing background melody sequence in the end. Complete delete has a calm beat mixed with some nice psychedelic effects. DOS is one of the better tracks, calm melodies with some pretty nice effects. Darwin Project starts morning and stays that way throughout the whole track, really nice and melodic. Morning star's got a heavier bassline, has some nice vibes going. 2001 quicker and more psy than the others, has some very nice melodic sequences. Maser is a slow mover, nice groove, chiller... album ends with OFF, an effect packed epilogue... "download complete" 8/
Guest Candlejack
Again we see people dissin' perfectly good music. I say fuck 'em all... This one is just cool. 9/10 here, and so what it is melodic and minimal at the same time...? It's just a great mix of styles on this album. And.. Sonofmankind is right here... Each group has it's own style.. So this is S-Range. Take it or leave it!!

Guest [Anonymous]
yes, SRange rocked San Francisco last year. It was among the top 3 acts we had(imo), and despite a minor technical difficulty, he went out in style playing till the lights came on. It would certainly be wondeful if he came back, but with some new material
Guest Shaq
Fantastic stuff! S-Range is very much like Human Blue. Not as good, but definitely close. This is recommended to all Human Blue fans. Progressive minimal psychadelic tunes...

Guest Vbrunner
So what's the bullshit about the cover? Who cares. These are supposed to be music - not art reviews. As for the album, it's really great. Tracks range from deeper and darker ones to absolutely wonderful morning tracks that work just as perfectly on a dance floor as at home. I'm not the biggest fan of the progressive sound, although I do appreciate some stuff. But this must be the most perfectly balanced progressive album I've heard. So soft and dreamy and still very dancable. I love it.
Guest Tchankov I.V.
Well, having owned this album for one year now, only today I sensed all its potential in its complexity. Its subtle, simply as subtle that every time I listened to it before it granted me fresh flow of emotions, but every time its spinning stopped - simply no memories retained in my head, just the magik wearing off... It was great & disappoining at the same time - my logik part of brain by no means could pigeonhole it, and that was an abuse, perhaps! But today I finally managed to break the vicious circle, having given it triple-spin in my player while living the city life - don't know how could this gem get slipped past my interest for the last half-a-year! Yeah, thats pure classics, for it incorporates influences from several musik cultures into one distinct stream - stream of pure joy, GOA trance alway tried to deliver us! So, the means may differ, could evolve, but who cares - this album, along with others, demonstrates the spirit's still alive. But the key to understanding that lies beyond its structure (which I stumbled upon, too) - just let the sound push your freed mind towards new horizons you never thought of... And the ultimate reward won't take long to follow. Each single track brings its own new elements on the foreground while staying true to the common concept of this album - that fact speaks for itself for "the visionary quality" of the trip you, fellow traveller, are about to take: get ready for the steady flow! I won't pick any favourite tracks here: they all proven to be successful under certain circumstances. So, to sum it up, this one gets solid 8,5 from me. Tchankov I.V. Guest Dr G
I really like this album and think it deserves its recommended rating. I can see that some people (like some of those above) think it a bit manicured and dull, but I think that it appeals in a very different way to a lot of trance. Rather than full-power, seize you by the throat, intensity, this is a gentle record with a different kind of psychedelic experience on offer: hypnotic, wafty, floaty, delicate; more mushrooms than acid, if you like. In a way this album works best if you are in a quiet mood, and can just surrender yourself to the music and float off. The production quality is excellent, with groovy 3-d sounds. I think it would be great in a forest somewhere at sunset. 9/10 ~*~
abasio
This album is undoubted brilliance but it is amood album & the mood has to be right for me to fully appreciate that brilliance! That has happened on a number of occasions with this album, always at night, always looking at a city landscape! Don't know why but that's me! Reccomended but stick with it if you don't initially love it

Reccomended but stick with it if you don't initially love it For me this album was always one to listen to in daytime during warm spring rains when there isnt much fog. I don't know why either.. In any case its a beautiful album!!
