RTP Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 A very stunning review there above ... will be hard to come close to that anyway, here's my 2 cents: first and foremost it's the other way round, the artist is called QUANTUM STATE and the album is called Subatomic Travellers. The style is rather dark, with a vibrating bassline. Not very melodic. A guitar can be heard at some point or another ... but it doesn't sound annoying. The sound comes across in a kind of dirty, non-polished way, which is actually very good for the underground atmosphere and a reason why I like this album pretty much. Another big reason is track 6, Natural Born Idiots ... that one is really a fast killer! The rest of the tracks isn't bad either (only filler I can think of is maybe the Dark Trancer ... didn't like that one at all), but none of them is as good as the 6th one IMO, not even Hippies With Credit Cards. Anyway. It's a pretty nice album that I like to listen to every once in a while ... no breathtaking masterpiece though.
