Outmosphere Review: Wizzy Noise was riding high on the dark psy wave started a few years ago... but now times have changed and the trend is now more favourable to more "happy" or "sunny" goa. And Wizzy Noise have followed this new trend with this album... copy cats? well, I'll let you decide on that, what I know is that I don't really appreciate dark goa unless it's very well done, so personally I like the new turn of events :-) Well, OK, it's not all happy, but overall the whole album feels a lot more fit for the morning hours rather than 3-4 AM like their previous ones. Fave tracks are Paradise Lost, Demented Drum Part 1 and Dreamwave. 8/10 (cause I don't like trend-followers...)
Jalliuz
Wizzy noise is back! That's what I feel when listening to this album. They take their own path and that's what's so great about it. They are totally not copycats. They made music like this years ago and put their own sound and style in a new jacket. This album is for me the best they made allready. Totally my style. It's a combination of dark nighttrance and groovy rhythmes. This is the music that makes it thrilling on the dancefloor. Definately 10/10 for me! freak51
In my opinion, this is a step backwards relative to the stark craft of Cyclotron. This release is very trancey, and sounds old after a couple of plays. It's just too ebullient for my taste. A lot of this is pretty standard, by-the-yard stuff. Or else they build up some good tension with backbeat/sustain in an understated rhythm that you can get into, and then they throw a bunch of cheesy e-trance on top and it feels like getting hit in the face with a teletubby backpack by some sketchy kid with a rave whistle. A few tracks are proper efforts, and so I say this should have been a single/EP. Feh. 5/10.

Manuser
What a terrific album, forgot how good it was. Very groovy and positive psytrance sound all over. Paradise Lost and Demented Drum 1 are both fantastic tracks! One of my favorite albums of the 2000-2005 era.
