Guest Genetix
V/A - Africa in Trance Artist: Various Title: Africa in Trance Label: Micro Dot Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Phyx : Residual Effects 02. Random L : What A Lag 03. Shift : Virtucon 04. Damage : Psychic Abrubtion 05. Artifact : Itchy 06. Damage : Power Management 07. Artifact : Nihilism 08. Humba : Flip The Switch 09. Binx : Morning Glory 10. Cara : Dripv Review: What can I say? This is just mind-blowing. Every track here is twisted. Twisted full on. I really like the Shift and Damage tracks. I don't know anything for this label. I think that music comes from South Africa. This music here is incredible. A must for DJs. Twisted full on that will blow you up. I only remember that Shift has released a track on Alchemy rec. on Conspirators … compil. This track (t3) is really good. You cannot imagine how twisted this track is. Damage (t4,6) are also very good. Fast full on dancefloor killers. Others tracks here are also very good - lake I said above this is must for DJs. I don't know if this compil is available somewhere but I must recommend that if you see it somewhere take it quickly. I give 9.5/10.
Guest Goagabba
The first in a line of many South African trance cds to come. The best song to look out for on this comp, are the songs from Damage and Shift, who are the two better known artists on this album. The two Artifakt songs are killer as well. Full-on power, with intelligent sounds, which are crystal clear. At the end Binx takes us onto a more progressive journey, to end the cd off with. Binx is a good friend of mine, and I wish him luck with his new release. : )

Guest MG
I second that motion KKKick that fucking bigot off. Has he even listened to the CD? Who do you listen to? Right!& who did they listen to? trace it back it all started with the likes of Derrick May, Juan Atkins, The Transmat label, Detroit. That is where the roots lie you fucking 19 year old, Black kids playing with discarded technology & shifting paradigms in the process, Lets see you say that shit real loud at a party and see the reaction, like when the kick drum stops for 2 seconds would you feel so fucking big then? You make me sick.

Guest Justin Psymatix
This CD,no matter what anyone says,is the best shit to come out of S.A and it is a job well done to all the people who made it happen.RESPECT.All tracks on the album r sick & twisted and deserve credit because they r all sculptured waveforms that represent true art and talent.9.5/
Guest Alien
Well I was one of the first to get this and my first impression was that is was a little amaturish. I got later albums such as the new Alien Safari CD and went WOW. Went back and realised that this is something really new, kinda like cross between 3D Vision and Psy-harmonics. It is realy fresh and kicks up a storm on the dance floor. 8/
