Guest chu42f[at]bangor[dot]ac[dot]uk
Excellent banging goa trance. This is the sound that got many of us into the stuff in the first place.Perhaps not as sophisticated as some reacent releases but still highly as effective. Mixes like a motherfucker from hell!!!
Guest Infected Max
Burk..awfull as usually for Asia 2001. I guess that in 2030 they'll still make 1996 Trance.

Guest Erez
I must go with Max here, cuz' this is not the kind of goa trance, people usually clings to. Its very old school trance.
Guest Marcin
We think this is a very good cd. This album makes me wanna go to a raveparty. wow!
Setsuko
I agree with Marcin, this is music for the dancefloor. The hard and melodic style is stuff that makes you want to freak out. Track 2,3,7 and 9 are killerz. particulary track 7, I heared it on a raveparty in an old castle. people were screaming it out, the way how goatrance should sound . This isn't intellectual music, it is partymusic... Buy it ...7,5/

psyhead
This is for the dancefloor, no doubt about it. Some nice acid tunes with a solid beat drives you insane as you dance into the night.. Great goa for virgins! =)
Guest Bais
I agree on Setsuko, he's an old classmate and I think that the cd is a pure danceclassic, nothing special but pure fun

Lemmiwinks
BEST Asia 2001 album IMO!!! Just to say that I listened recently (writing this in 2003) Vertige in a morning set at a goa party and it was THE best track from the whole party!! Yes, it's THAT good!! People were going crazy and smiling and doing crazy moves. other tracks are very good too 10/

Trance2MoveU
Artist: Asia 2001Title: Ama ZoneLabel: Avatar RecordsDate: 19981. Red Horizones2. Bais 513. Antartica4. Full Moon Project5. Ama Zone6. Super JV7. Visitors8. Zeta Reticulli (Jarod Mix)9. Vertige (Paradiso Mix)"Don't hope too much for something cause you may end up getting it."Martin Cooper is an uber talented music producer that had as many aliases as Filipe Santos does today. Even the name he used was a f*cking alias. His name's not Martin. It's Gilbert Thevenet. But by far this was his most successful project. 6 albums of goa trance, a best of if you will with Amnesia, and then whatever the f*ck Abduction was. There are certain albums that just stand out and while I think this is a very good one, it's the vibrant artwork that makes me smile. The first track that hits the sweet spot is Antartica with it's ever changing lead sounds and furious intensity. Full Moon Project follows suit with crazy dancing acid lines and extended twirling opportunities. Visitors is characterized by a screaming 303 while his version of Zeta Reticuli comes off as rather subdued. Fear not because he closes with a screamer in Vertige. This isn't a layer rich melodic orgasm. Sure there are melodies, but he doesn't stack them one on top of the other as it's made primarily for the dance floor. Some of the tracks have some extended time where nothing new is introduced so for me he loses some points there. I don't believe I'm going out on a limb by saying this isn't a classic, but it is a pretty good goa trance album.Mdk
