Guest Stormbringer
Cydonia - Anaconda (Rmx) / April Fools Artist: Cydonia Title: Anaconda (Rmx) / April Fools Label: Atomic Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. Anaconda (Rmx) 02. April Fools Review: "Anaconda Remix" (7/10) There´s nothing sweet and gentle about this track at all. The whole track consist of only one killer drumpattern with some effects, but what a pattern!!! I get sweaty only by listening to this in my headphones :-) I really enjoy clean tracks with only a few sounds like this one. "April Fools" (10/10) This track has a lot of furious energy and almost the same lethal rhythm as "Anaconda". There´s also a couple of breaks which are truly awesome with some magic metallic drumsounds that I just love. This is the best Cydoniatrack I´ve heard ever and right now I´m fighting the urge to start banging my head. At the end there´s even som angry guitars so now I´m about to start pogodancing too! Try to stop me if you can :-) I hope you understand that I think this is a killerrelease and there´s no question that Cydonia has never been better than this except live! Guest AtomicCow
April Fools is awesome. My only complaint is that it's too short (but then again you can't sustain this kind of thing too long). Great guitar loop with effects on it, nice jumpy bass and an unusual track structure. Loads of energy. Tim Schuldt's style. As for the other track, I think I like the original Anaconda better. Guest binke[at]binke[dot]org
Very good mixability, if you are into playing house partys maybe even clubs I think this is an indoor kind of sound. Not necessarily limited to just that though! Both tracks are very similar sounding and yet both good in their own ways. Not a record of huge importance to own but a good addition to a collection.
