Guest DJ Vonpire
V/A - Analog Reflections 3 Artist: Various Title: Analog Reflections 3 Label: Agitato Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 06'30" Insect Sun : The Room 02. 07'45" Boo-Reka : Skak 03. 06'50" Platform : Unfreeze 04. 07'50" Surreal : Speech Failure 05. 07'47" Pixel : Black In Black Out 06. 04'53" STAZZ : Havoc 07. 06'44" Psydrop : Half Life 08. 06'42" Platform : Speed Up Review: The CD opens with Insect Sun The Room is a typical track from Ilan with all the expected squeaky mind games plus extra brain scratches, but in a relatively mellow atmosphere, good song. Than it's Boo-Reka, technoish side project of Hujaboy with Skak (T2), a massive relentless real dark one- beware of the bass line. A smooth move to Platform himself with Unfreeze (T3), monotonic scratchy techno with good mechanic groove, a bit boring and not so cool as that. Surreal continue with Speech Failure from their Beyond album, and change the atmosphere completely. Nutty Eat-Static-like atmosphere with, catchy rhythms and bubbly melodic lines. Pixel with the second released track here, his big hit Black In Black Out (T5), This one is a killer, great bassline, spooky sounds and a deep and dark athmosphere, very good. Than you get a short techno lesson from new comer S.T.A.ZZ, Havoc (T6) really grabs you and shows a lot of promise, but the sound is very bad. Psydrop is another new one, and Half Life (T7) is a weird track, cute groovy and clubby, full of little arcade sound mind games. Again work on sound needed. Platform finishes the story with Speed Up, another killer, a darker technoish piece, with hypnotic tribal feel and filled with spooky atmosphere. In my opinion you only like this album if you're into minimal/techno trance. If you're only stuck to melodic, old school goa trance don't buy it. You'll hate it For me it works, but it's not a masterpiece. Well I give it 6.5/10 PEACE
Guest Genetix
Third in the series so far and not the best I think. If you whanna here something new techoish sound this is sure for you. I have only the first in the series and don't expect that much of techno sound here. Let's begin with the music here. (t1) very good chosen track for starting a CD. Slow twisted and grove peace of music. (t2) side project from Hujaboy and what else can you expect than real dark atmosphere with strong bass line. (t3) one of the two tracks produced by him. I don't like this. Too monotonous and too technoish. (t4) good change here from the tracks above. Eat-Static atmosphere with very good melodies. Well not real melodies just short ones just to catch your mind. (t5) real dancefloor killer. Fast kinda full on track. (t6) what is this? pure techno. Look at the length of this track. Just 4 min. this is shit. It doesn't belong here. (t7) another track that I don't like. Too clubby and groove. (t8) spooky atmosphere here. Dark technoish track wilt little signs of tribal? Overall I don't like it. It has some good track but others tracks are pure techno-trance. I give 5.5/10.

Guest [Anonymous]
'Stuck' implies wanting to move but being unable to do so. People who prefer the oldschool sound are, for the most part, not stuck, because they have no desire to be anywhere else with regards to their musical tastes, and who can argue with their taste or yours? Guest Candlejack
Could be good.. but what the fuck is up with the length of this comp? With these times they could've easily fit 2 extra tracks on it... Now it's .. what? Almost 60 minutes?? Arrghh... I think I'll only buy this when the price is really low...
