Guest Florian
Albums - Lumukanda : Araglin Artist: Albums Title: Lumukanda : Araglin Label: Psy-Harmonics Date: 1994 Track listing: 01. Red Black And Mellow 02. Sunday St Kilda Setdown 03. Dance Of Thee Pink Elephants 04. Triad 2 05. Triad 3 06. Walk In Thee Black Forest 07. EMC Squared 08. The Square Root Of 529 Review: This realease is really special and i can say its sourrounded by a mysterious aura. Maybe i should say it's no party music but also not chillout. However it has an ambient touch. It has so many deep feelings in it you could think you're in a dark forrest thousands of miles away from any civilization. Since this album i never met something like this again! I can't even compare this to any music i know so far. You have to listen to tracks 6!!! 3!! 1! I give this album a 10/10. But to some tracks 11/10 !!
Guest Dido
O.M.G., this release is trippy as hell. Just look at the cover... Being a psytrance DJ, I can say, this recording works pretty well as a downbeat fade-away to morning chilli tunes, but; As Flo mentioned, the truly description is like this: nothing before, even nothing after sounds like this, it´s completely out-of-this-world... This CD was originally released on Nova Zembla (Nova Mute subsidiary) and become VERY rare. Catch this, maybe´s not too late. 10/10 with no doubt
Guest Davidtolsn
i found this cd to be very boring, couldn't even get through the entire thing. too old sounding, i think. i don't even think this is goa style. if you're really into the ambient/tribal thing you might like it, but i'll stick with shpongle. Guest Slave2rave
I have this cd for a long time now... all i can say is that this is perfect if you want highly psychedelic tunes. As said before, it's nothing you ever heard before, it's totally unique! My favourite tracks are certainly Dance Of Thee Pink Elephants and Walk In Thee Black Forest. Seems like we're in a sick and psychedelic dream, and this is the perfect soundtrack for it. It's magic. 10/10.

0daybrain
recently i listened to 'Lumukanda - an army of R-ants' and i got appetite for more. when this tune played (shuffled on headphones) the other music from that evening instantly seemed insignificant. and hey ... the initial review from 2001 was my first ever psynews.org post! Usling
wow This album is truly awesome! A bit like Shpongle but less south-american and indian samples and more europe/north-american ones. Very trippy. Favourite tracks are "Sunday St Kilda Setdown" and "EMC Squared". If you like the song Sunday St Kilda i can recommend this album: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/twi/twi1cd003.html a twisted records compilation called Eclipse. I think it's still available from Twisted records own shop at http://www.twistedmusic.com/ Also very trippy and slow. Magic. I'm aware that this album was made earlier than what i compared it to but i discovered it just now after reading this thread. Had to download it though :-(
