mars
The review above sais everything but here are my comments: 1-very good. seems GMS remix everything they hear 2-should have been called Reload remix2...is it a joke ? ayway its a very danceable track. 3-this one is very good, typical GMS overtwisted style. only one remark: they should have put less RajaRam gossip within. 4-well, good one 5-funny one, well engineered...it must be listened to because its hard to imagine what's some cowboy-psytrance 6-To the limit of cheese...but efficient...and twisted. 7-awesome track with all the imagination and style of LB. poerful & smooth. 8-Serge delivers us a masterpiece of psy-modern-TE-like-trance 9-grooaaaaarrhh what a track !! It will steal your soul. Now Deedrah knows how to make minimal crazyness. Definitely THE compil of the year so far !
Guest Bobhead
V/A - Assassi-Nations Artist: Various Title: Assassi-Nations Label: TIP World Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'05" Alien Project : Midnight Sun (GMS Rmx) 02. 07'51" Meathead Productions : The Big Ship 03. 06'35" 1300 Mics : Salva Divinorum 04. 08'24" Alien Project And Asterix : Genetic Eyes (Genetically Modified Rmx) 05. 08'12" D Tek And Dr Panic : Psychedelic Cowboy 06. 06'04" Zorba And Chicago : The Rush 07. 07'56" Logic Bomb : Lodjik 08. 07'20" Antidote : Have A Drink 09. 08'17" Synthetic : The Mummy Review: 1 - Alien Project - Midnight SUn (GMS Rmx): starts this compilation with a good track. The Gms Rmx for Midnight Sun, a classic track from Alien P. Its a very refreshing track with a good bassline. And we can say that the basic GMS style continues to work. Its start with a melodic touch... and then turn to a good bassline. Its still very effective as always. 2 - Meat Head Productions - The Big Ship - new psy project appears in the album. Personallu i dint like that much this track. Its remember a lot the knowed Deedrah - Reload. It have a morning fell on it. The track goes darker and darker as it progress, i dont know anything else about this project... but i think it comes to to stay. 3 - 1300 Mics - Salvia Divinorum: Uhhhm.. GMs and Raja Ram. Can i need any comment ? My opnion: The best track in the compilation. I think people already had listen to this in any party. Its the kinf of music we can dance at any time. Good builds up and a good flow. Just listen to it . 4 - Alien Project - Genetic Eyes Rmx: i got this review from a friend... its describe the track: The track sounded like yet another standard formula track made for people to stomp at parties... until the break at 2:30, where something goes very wrong..... in the best way. The way it snaps back into the beat and starts developing with a fury. Even though sometimes they overplay the music, every time it develops, the track just sounds RIGHT. Dance, dance, dance. Yay! 5 - D Tek and Dr Panic - Psychedelic Cowboys : New Project appears on the compílation again. This track is kind a Folk Music with Psy Trance. It have some acoustic guitar on that. Old West style. Good electronic sounds on that. Its the kind of music people smile :-)) on the floor when its play. 6 - Zorba - The Rush: I like that track a lot. Its start with a beautiful melodic melody, and then the bass comes in. Its very dancable on dance floor. Its have some some Goa melodic in that... Tb303 style.... but still good .... Good to start a Set... or to finish one too, but it's one of the tracks that you can gladly smile to when hearing. 7 - Logic Bomb - Logic: Now comes the men from Logic Bomb, its a constant track, as logic bomb know how to do....killer groove, slick production, very well thought out structure, and raises the pulse from the beginning, and keeps it up there until the end. Logic Bomb can keep you asking for more..... but ..as usually .. they dont supply u with that..... But still a very good track for Logic Bomb fans. 8 - Antidote - Have a Drink: Uhhhm... already release in Antidotecom album from Solstice Records... I thinks its the worse track from the album. It have a sample of some liquid falling in a cup ... its the best part of the track. I think Antidote have better songs... like Geometric.... But its not so bad...u can listen it ! 9 - Synthetic - The Mummy : Like we can say ... it hav esame The Mummy movie Samples in that. The music start with a DnB touches. At 1:30 the bassdrum kicks in, and we get the German trance feel. Power, no mercy, no subtle touches, no going soft, just bassdrum, bassline, percussion, evil effects, we all know the routine here. Its like other Synthetic style tracks... a kind of Psy Techno. Overall, this is a very good compilation. Tip give us another good sounds on it, new stuff, new projects. I vote for it as the comp. of the year so far!
Guest iNFiNiTi500
Frustratingly waiting for a glorious return of authentic and twisted P S Y ???: Fear no longer, salvation is nearby. Dunno what dope GMS found on Ibiza lately but it must be pretty straight stuff 'cause gone are the days of ugly acid cannon-fodder. As if the remix of -Midnight Sun- isn't briljant enough, -Salva Divinorium- is the sheer magic we might expect from Simon P. on a very good day (if he would leave his ambient addiction alone, that is); unmistakenly deserving the T R A C K of the Y E A R award IMO. -The Big Ship- and -Genetic Eye- sound a little pale compared to the 1300 Mics mayhem but still decent enough to set any dancefloor on fire, whereas -Psychedelic Cowboy- is a faithful and well executed -Pistolero- clone. Clubby ugly duck -The Rush- should have ended up on Movers and Groovers III and not here. From the hundreds of trax Logic Bomb contributed to various compilations lately, the uplifting -Logic- must be their very best with those impressive ultraheavy bassdrums and nicely progressing melody changes. -Have A Drink- starts as a track that escaped from Total Eclipse's Access Denied album but towards the end its a pleasant psychedelic fest. Great track. More cliched Hollywood Blockbuster samples in the 3DVision styled -Mummy-, by far the heaviest and most minimalistic track on here and although not 100% my taste, its certainly bearable. TIPWORLD apparantly has a well developed sense to visionise what the psyscene needs right now, with -Assassi-Nations- as clear evidence. Add another vote for compil of the year...Rating: Essential

Guest Connor
What a great compilation! The western tune is kind of weird, but otherwise the comp covers a great range of styles from the most intense full-on, to melodic, to the dark night style for midnight stomp sessions. Track 3, Salvia Divinorum - 1300 mics is one of the most incredible tracks I have ever ever heard, and is certainly the most intense. That buildup and full-on explosion is masterful. It is noisily unique, but not ugly at all. Now.. as for track six, this is the best prog trance song I have EVER heard. You minimal animals steer clear, this song is not even really psy trance but it is a very high energy track with good vibes and a great build-up. Very good track to cross a set from prog trance to psy trance. This compilation will go down in TIP history.
Guest Cnt97
HUGE disapointment, some club-trance hits and low quality productions. Even the Logic track is boring! Best track on this compilation is Alien Project - Genetic Eye Rmx.
Guest Cnt97
btw, The Mummy is OK, but it dies when after the "303-acid" part...
Guest Macro
Once i liked TIP but this sampler shows me the opposit ....what happend to their good old style i miss something hard .....the mummy is the only playable track of this compilation
Guest HAch
best compilation i´ve heard in the last months... 1300 mics and alien project are the best ones... psychedelic cowboy isn´t weird at all, it´s just that someones really think that music can´t be funny to be good... anyway i enjoy this track just like the others... this is a great compilation for those who really want to have a good time and dance and enjoy music without any other pretentions. Guest Goa Spirit
Very very charged music from tip world... well it was expected... 1300 mics,, heard this one before. totally crazy track... 2 years wait from 1200 mics.. similar sounding track, with the very goa analog line in the back.. more artists should make music like this.. first and fourth tracks are remixes of alien project tracks, and they work very well... 2 sounds just like deedrah, and zorba delivers a nice track, bt nothing mindblowing here.logic deliver a very very very good track, these guys are just sooo good... antidote, this track is decent. Synthetic - dado makes techno, and this is the one track that i didn't like on this cd,... all in all the two tip releases (this one and dimitri's dat bag) have been burning up dance floors throug the year and now we have an oppurtunity to own these tracks.. don't even think, get up right this second and run over to your local trance store and buy this as well as dimitri's dat bag, you won't be dissapointed...... 8.5/10 Peace

Guest AslaK
But why didn't they put the 1300 Mics track on the LP release ?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
PKS
I like most of the releaes on TIP.World (I have all of them), but there are some really bad tracks from time to time. The Movers & Groovers 1 and 2 is too cheesy for me. Now I`ve got this last one in the Nations series. Assassi:Nations has som really good tracks, like 1, 3 and 8. When I heard the Zorba track, I was almost shocked! This is really pure euro trance like Tiesto etc plays! It`s so far away from psychedelic trance! It is very cheesy, so how in earth can they put this track on this release?? I have my conclusion. They are after the money! This song bellongs in the raves where the kids are, or at comercial Ibica clubs. I think it`s sad. Why, why, why!!!???
Guest Jason - Los Angeles, CA
Wow!!! I pretty much don't know what else to say. This CD kicks ass from beginning to end. You have my favorite GMS, then Deedrah, Serge from Total Eclise, The amazing Logic Bomb, Raja Ram, Alien Project and even a couple new comers from Mexico give us a little latin feel with Psychadelic Cowboys. Man everybody start buying up. There is some really good music out right now.
