Guest Davidtolsn Posted December 5, 2002 Share Posted December 5, 2002 astral pancakes is much more subtle than most other hallucinogen tracks. it doesn't kick you in the ass, but it is still very very good. conceptually, maybe closer to atmos, so full-on only people maybe won't like it as much. for me, i think it is a work of art! it slowly draws you in, and then begins to take you to another place, and then that somewhat melancholy, strange, beautiful melody comes in,.. and then the psychedelic sounds come in again in full effect, and you become immersed in the sound, and it just keeps building. a psychedelic journey. 9.5/10. fluoro neuro sponge is on twisted and another very good hallucinogen track. 9/10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trance2MoveU Posted August 17, 2008 Share Posted August 17, 2008 This was a pretty good EP. Fluoro Neuro Sponge is a classic and very driving. Like mentioned above, Astral Pancakes is a more laid back track. A very enjoyable listen. It's easy to see with this release, as well as the LSD EP and their 2 albums why Hallucinogen was arguably one of the best goa acts.
