tbe
Miranda - Asynja Artist: Miranda Title: Asynja Label: Goldhead Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'18" Groom Lake 02. 07'37" Evolution Quest 03. 07'58" Anxiety 04. 07'22" Keep Calm 05. 07'59" Magnetic Levitation 06. 07'43" Visitors 07. 09'25" Hypnotic Trance 08. 07'32" Enigma Review: After releasing 2 mythical albums, Miranda released in 1999 a third album which disappoint us a lot... a kind of bad commercial trance. So, how would be the 4th album, this one ? First track starts in a good way with a lot of power, but after two minutes a bad commercial melody comes....boring. T2 starts in a nice way like a good progressive track (with Miranda style of course)...it's better than the first track, but during the second part, comes an horrible melody....why making that ? I don't understand.. T3 is a kind of old school goa..not bad..reminds me a little bit old MFG or Tandu stuff.. :-) Of course you must like this s tyle to enjoy... T4 starts as T1 with an energetic rhythm...then comes a kind of energetic goa melody...not that bad even if that's not breaking new ground. Next track is too simple and repetitive...boring, and we have already heard those synth sounds 1000 times. You will like "visitors" (track 6 ) if you like slow old school goa..., the best track of the album. Next track is far too comercial. The last track is an ambient track, not very new stuff here too.. So, Miranda should choose between goa and commercial trance because those 2 styles don't fit together. She should also make an evolution, try to use some different sounds, some different rhythm...maybe next, who knows ?

Guest ----==[ PSYJuNKie ]==----
If you're a GOA-head get this album NOW!!!!! But if you like progressive psy (dark depressing boring basslines, no melodies whatsoever) like tbe here, dont get this album. The sound on this album is really old skoolish goa. which of course is the best! "Commercial trance" ?? This is not even near DJ Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Picotto!!! Those artists are into commercial trance. This album 0wnz so bad that everybody have to buy it!!
Guest Swede Indeed
This is the most dull and stupid, comercial, uninspired goa album I have heard. I like some of Miranda's older tracks but this is pure shit. Track 4 is the least bad track. 1/10. Yuck.
Guest Indigo spice
I guess that either way you just LOVE this album, or you just hate it! And I'm just one of those real "diehard" Miranda fans who LOVES this album! If you haven't heard it, check it out (it's worth a listen)! 10/10 Enough said! Guest VBRunner
Great! In these days of boring minimalism, Miranda is not afraid to go her own way. And what a great way it is! This is pure full-on, mad, stomping goa the way it should be. Some may accuse a few of the tracks to border to the "commercial" side of trance. Who cares, when it's this good? Amazing work, Miranda! Guest parski[at]hotmail[dot]com
It's like I've heard these beats for a million times. Some of the tracks are made with a thought but the rest is, hmmm pure shite in my opinion. Groom Lake and Keep Calm were my favourites .. if you are into Miranda be sure to get this release, it will not let you down but it will not be a huge adrenaline pumper as the previous releases have been. Still, get it !
Guest Woah
uh.... this should really not be on this site... just because they have made goa doesn't mean their CD should be here no matter what. What it Miranda turned into Brittni Spears? would be on this site? GOD this album sucks if you like club trance get it. UNINSPIRED SHIT! mahoney
really good and powerful old-school israeli album, but maybe time to evolve, feels like I´ve heard this before.
Guest Stormbringer
It seems that I´ve been really stupid for too long now. I´ve listened to other peoples ignorant ideas instead of Mirandas music. I heard this record for the first time today and it sure is in the same spirit as RA and Dimension 5 but even more energetic and powerful. Some of the tracks should even fit the 3D Vision labelprofile! I can´t understand why so many people hate Miranda??? THIS IS REALLY GOOD STUFF! Guest LSDSanyasi
Woohoo!!!...What a trip back to the roots!!!...This killer album combines distinctively Goa melodies with such prefect squeaks and squiggles of sound...All laid over a thumping bass-line and powerful precussion...The Hi-Hat work on some of the tracks is amazing!!!...So basically, if you love Goa and like the newer minimalistic sounds, this album is one that has both in perfect harmony!...A 10/10 from me!...Bom Shankar...Eshanti Brahaman! Mergi
Not as good as Northern Lights, but still pure Miranda style Psychedlic-Trance which always kicks major booty... 8/
Jon Cocco
This album is arguably the most awesome album by Miranda! Track 7 is just too amazing to describe. Seriously, I don't see any commercial influence directly involved with Miranda's new album. It's her style, and sounds so sweeeeeeeeeeet! This is fresh, psychedelic, FULL-ON, Goatrance, and it's more mature then ever before. If you like Miranda, you should love this album! seraph
This is Miranda's maybe the best album so far...It is more serious then her previous albums but still she remains stomping and banging..The best songs are : EVOLUTION QUEST, ANXIETY, KEEP CALM, HYPNOTIC TRANCE AND ENIGMA . 7.5/
