Guest jubalula6[at]yahoo[dot]com
Maybe this kind of compil is made for people like me who lives in places where stores don't sell good trance. so this is (one of) the only way for me to know (and get) new tracks... and for the last months i never saw a compil with so many good songs together. sorry again but t. 1 rules and proves that bass lines gives life... here in Rio people get crazy when they listen to it... best traxx: 1, 2, 4 , 8 , 9. --------- 9/10 -------- oieinnnnnn !!!!!!! Guest Genetix
V/A - Bass Monster Artist: Various Title: Bass Monster Label: MDMA Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. Cydonia : Bass Monster 02. Noosphere : Vector 03. Joti Sidhu : Free Radical 04. Talamasca : Magnetic Fields 05. Mumbo Jumbo : Techno Boom Boom 06. Mino : Animated 07. Alien Project : Genetic Eye (Rmx) 08. Exaile : Tied Up 09. Deedrah : Reload (GMS Rmx) Review: I think that all tracks here are already released elsewhere so I don't understand why MDMA is making this kind compils. It remaids me on Malfunction. (t1) (Distance 10) I don't like it. Too bass oriented and it has some cheese melody (t2) (Zoom 2001) I don't quite like it. I don't know, dark progressive tune (t3) (Distance 10) pretty uplifting with with some melodies (t4) (On EP before) 150 bpm full on stomper with nice voice samples (t5) (on EP before) this is not techno as the title says. Very good track from them. Fast, driving party track that will burn the dancefloor easily. (t6) (Anima) I have never liked Mino, this track here starts good but than fails (t7) (Assassi-Nation) Another dancefloor burner here. Very good rmx, the original was little bit slower I think. (t8) (Unreleased before) I don't know how to describe it but believe me nothing special here. (t9) (Pure MDMA vol.2) Another good rmx here. GMS have done great job here. I played this track on a party and peo! ple started to scream and jump like some freaks. If you don't have Talamasca and Mumbo Jumbo on CD you should buy this. I give 8.0/

Guest theorem
Fun comp. mainly for "bassmonster," which sounds awefully familiar (anyone remember "tornado" from phreaky?) Everything has been released before, but they are all worth hearing again...
