Guest Kvin2000 Posted February 4, 2000 Posted February 4, 2000 I agree, this is a good album and I like most of it exept for tracks 4 and 7 which are a bit to boring for me. Quote
Guest d.mcnair[at]dailyrecord.co[dot]u Posted February 11, 2000 Posted February 11, 2000 This album is tasty rocket fuelled type trance, really energetic and reach for the sky stuff. But is it just me or does a lot of it (not just the collaboration) sound an awful lot like they've studied the blueprint for Hallucinogen's sound then maybe added their own twist? Perhaps that's no bad thing though. Well done! Quote
Guest Tequila Posted February 12, 2000 Posted February 12, 2000 Not really original but great althought.Good sounds and nice melodies.A lot of tracks are made with some guys of other groups.Best track is "Cat on Mushroom", made also by the guys of infected mushroom. The track made with the artist of transwave is good too. Guest Infected Max Posted February 17, 2000 Posted February 17, 2000 Oooh my god...i thought this album was pretty good...BUt it pure shit.......compared to the new one!!! I heard several tracks of it (it will be released soon @ BNE label) And it's absolutely incredible!!! The track "Mind Shocker" is Erez all time favourite!!! Quote
Guest AtomikElf Posted March 28, 2000 Posted March 28, 2000 it's not a bad album. songs 1, 4, 5 And 6 are pretty cool. the last song is a (painfully) sore ripoff of astral projection: ambient galaxy tho(at least i think so anyway). but on the whole, it made for good listening for a while. i still jam it now n then. 6.5/10 Quote
Guest Ubik Posted April 13, 2000 Posted April 13, 2000 Nice album, you can recognize the different collaborations especially on tracks 1 (Simon P.), 5 (Infected Mushroom) and 7 (Ofer D.). Best track is Cat on Mushroom with a wonderful melody during the two last minutes. 7/10 Quote
Guest X - Dreamer in NYC Posted April 16, 2000 Posted April 16, 2000 Space Cat is the man. This album is the bomb and the track with Infected is amazing. Good album to move to. 9/10 Quote
Guest ChrisdeeACiD Posted April 17, 2000 Posted April 17, 2000 Nice album indeed! Not really like the other stuff I've bought lately with some real dancefloor stompers! "Invasion" "Space Cats" "Kreak" are definitely the best ones. "Beam me Up" hmm... I don't know what to say about this track. WHY destroy the whole track with that dreadful melodie that sounds SO falsh!!! It would be perfect if they removed it! Another thing that irritates me is that the bassdrumm allmost sounds the same through the whole album with some variations. Allover a good one 7/10 Quote
Guest psytrancer Posted April 19, 2000 Posted April 19, 2000 Its cool, pretty quirky psytrance with a generally up feel. 6.5/10 Can't wait to hear the new one which I think will be a little more, how can I say?.......INFECTED! Quote
Guest AtomikElf Posted June 14, 2000 Posted June 14, 2000 been listening to it again, and i wanna upgrade my score to 7.5/10 (nearly 8/10), just the last song sucks. my favourite song is #4 - it just fuckin rocks!! it sorta melts down and swirls down your mind, and at the same time penetrates it with an awesome take-off of laser lights, and then off you go at warp 10 again, hehehehe ¦-D lovely shtuff Quote
Guest damoneves[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted August 29, 2000 Posted August 29, 2000 Just got this album yesterday...f...ing insane album! Guest snowvision[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted September 19, 2000 Posted September 19, 2000 anybody wanna start counting how many "simons" r out there? rediculous... c'mon, this is a kickin' psychedelic album from the best israeli artist. here comes the second one. i am totally curious. snow Quote
Guest [Anonymous] Posted September 26, 2000 Posted September 26, 2000 The first time I listened to it one of my cat looked at me looking very scared then ran away and the other one kept looking at me too and then let himself fall flat on the floor...go figure... Quote
vOrTeXdReAm Posted October 5, 2000 Posted October 5, 2000 Not as good as I expected. The tracks start quite minimalistic, with no melodies and just funky, metallic beats for like five minutes. Then, in the end, you will hear a great melody for like twenty seconds and the track suddenly ends. You see the problem? The best track is "Kreak", followed by "Cat On Mushroom", "Space Cats" and "Beam Me Up". I'm a bit disappointed. I can't help it. "Funky" is a copy of Astral Projection's "Dancing Galaxy". Fucking weak... Quote
Guest F-AcTivE Posted October 7, 2000 Posted October 7, 2000 This is kool psytrance from Israel! It sounds very metallic and different from other psytrance. It works well at the dancefloor , but u can listen to it at home as well. The first track is with Simon Posford , great track!. "Cat On Mushroom" is with Infected Mushroom , another killer track. "Kreak" is in my opinion the coolest track on the album. "New Horizon" sounds a bit clubby , but i love this track...perfect dancefloor music. If u wanna have some spacey twisted music from Israel ..go and get this ! Rating: 8/10 Quote
Guest G-moork Posted November 28, 2000 Posted November 28, 2000 I thought that collaborator of all tracks is Simon Posford. In almost every track You can find a copy of Hallucinogen's samples. Maybe thats why this album is so good. Quote
Guest squidbyte Posted January 12, 2001 Posted January 12, 2001 slightly derivative of other works, as noted [hallucinogen/mushrooms] but still excellent. very smooth liquid sounds throughout, and the collaborations pay off nicely. one of my favorite albums! 9/10 Quote
mahoney Posted March 15, 2001 Posted March 15, 2001 Love this one!.!.! I agree that it sounds quite like Hallucinogen... so then it can´t be bad? or could it? Quote
Guest slinker Posted May 3, 2001 Posted May 3, 2001 Im listening to it now and its great music in every possible sense...i love Kreak and theres not a shit track anywhere to be seen!.....9/10 Quote
Guest yakov[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted May 24, 2001 Posted May 24, 2001 PURE HALLUCINOGEN RIP OFF! But very good.... ;-) Quote
Guest AtomikElf Posted May 28, 2001 Posted May 28, 2001 i wanna take back my reviews above and replace it with a solid 9/10 rating. it's an awesome, fucking unbelievable cd. the last song is the only one that i dont really like....but this cd is absolutely stunning!!! it needs a little bit of deep listening to be FULLY appreciated. it's damn fine in any case, but that deep listening will make u appreciate it even more. favourite songs....all, except last one, but especially 4 and 5!!! 10/10, but the last song makes it 9/10 Quote
Guest Diepeveen Posted August 6, 2001 Posted August 6, 2001 Very good album! Many nice tracks, and no shit... Fav'e tracks is: 1,4,5,6,8... Other tracks are also good(!!) - 9/10 Quote
