Guest Deku81
Cyan - Beast From The East Artist: Cyan Title: Beast From The East Label: Discobole Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 07'47" GOA 02. 08'48" Aizen Myoo 03. 09'45" Who's Laughing? 04. 09'54" Zap Phazer 05. 10'18" Tripulation 06. 10'28" The Eyes Of Buddah 07. 09'18" Elf 08. 09'50" The Beast Comes Out Review: First release from Cyan (The Beast From The East I suppose? ). This is nitzhonot but it's pretty good. I don't know if this kind o music is easy to make cause I'm no musician myself but this actually sounds good compared to most nitzhonot. Very bright melodies but a dark bass in most tracks. This is not an album that's good relaxing to, it should be heard on fat speakers outdoor at night. Very fast and pumping, just as his second album.. tracks 1,3 and 4 are best, especially the fourth track "zap phazer".. amazing actually, almost on my all-time top ten tracks (no don't kill me for likeingnitzhonot =)))... a song made for the dancefloor at it really works!!!!! Raiting: 6/
Guest Trancers303
I don´t like nitzhonot, but i don´t know if you can call it for that...But I love this shit. Blows my mind out. The 1 track is awesome...3-5 are the other great tracks. The rest are only good. The only thing I dont like is that the songs are sounding a bit the same...Raiting: 8,5/

psyhead
Easy listening all the way. Energic trancedance, not complex, mindblasting tracks, but ok too dance to. Thumbs up Cyan
Guest anonymous musician-psy-fan
This is shit! A very bad, and miserably failed attempt to imitate Luminus-style Israeli trance... I'm a melodic fan all the way, but this is just too cheesy... very predictable modulations, no real surprise anywhere in this music. In response to deku 81 review on the top: it takes some skill to make this kinda music sound so good , but there is no harmonic intrigue whatsoever... musically it means nothing...no surprises, no gadgets, just bangin' and slammin' (wanna hear sound + real music: Chi-A.D., his music is really thought through!) Guest Trance Heretic
Energy + Straight Bass + Melodies ...of causs this is not twisted-rec-styled music but another kind of psy-dance very good for openair or daylight listening. (very good, respect from russia)) 8.5/
seraph
Pretty good and quality nitzhonot GOA trance album...It has real goa spirit in with fat, heavy bass and lunatic breaks...Lots of israel and indian influences...Those that likes old goa and psychedelia will like this album very much...Best on album : GOA, AIZEEN MYOO, ZAP PHASER, TRIPULATION, THE EYES OF BUDDHA ( !!! ), ELF...7/

tripper
As i know personally the guys from cyan i have to tell you that this album is made in a studio with synthesizers..and this is the big difference with the rest of nitzonot music that's made with samples in a tracker..! Some melodies kick ass and i gave to say that the first track G-O-A used to be my favourite 9 years ago!!! And as we used to say here in Greece this is ''uplifting psychedelic melodic trance'' the name nitzonot is the nowdays name...!

And as we used to say here in Greece this is ''uplifting psychedelic melodic trance'' the name nitzonot is the nowdays name...! I don't think the production method has a lot to do with the genre. This is nitzhonot (uplifting) since it has the melodies, effects and breakdowns characteristic of the genre. I don't think there's anything wrong with nitzhonot though. Holymen gave it more of a bad rumour than it deserves, with all their shitty stolen melodies.
Trance2MoveU
Artist: Cyan Title: Beast From The East Label: Discoble Recordings Date: 1998 01. 07'47" GOA02. 08'48" Aizen Myoo03. 09'45" Who's Laughing?04. 09'54" Zap Phazer05. 10'18" Tripulation06. 10'28" The Eyes Of Buddah07. 09'18" Elf08. 09'50" The Beast Comes Out Holy sh*t when did listening to music become a f*cikng Ironman? This is a long CD. And it will wear your narrow ass out. Maybe even have you thinking about some life changes. The tracks are constantly evolving which is a good thing. It's Nitzhogoa without the cheesy melodies, but it still has that distinct nitzho sound. The pace is frenetic and this is what they should be playing in sweating to the oldies classes. You'll either drop massive LB's or drop dead from a heart attack. Hard to sit through in its entirety. There is a darker feel here as well which makes it more appealing to me than other nitzho stuff. One problem is the lack of variety when it comes to lead sounds. It's like groundhog day. Surely their hardware came with more than a few presets. All in all though it's still some blasting Nitzhogoa as long as you take it one track at a time. Don't forget to stretch. Mdk
