Guest ChristopheS[at]InterXion[dot]com
Akasha - Beings From Another World / Ace Of Wands Artist: Akasha Title: Beings From Another World / Ace Of Wands Label: Phantasm Date: 1994 Track listing: 01. Beings From Another World 02. Ace Of Wands Review: I added this record as I noticed a lot of recent releases in this listing. It might be of interest that more classic goa tunes appear on these reviews. Beings from another world : This is how Mark Allen arrived on the goa trance scene as a producer. The tune had huge success in Goa on DAT back then, and decided to release it. At this period it was hard to get goa trance in shops. It was underground, new, psychedelic, filled with SUN and ACID!!!!. This was Dawn of psy trance!!!! The thing is that it is still enjoyable in parties because of its unusual sounds coming from a really different period of time and approach of psy trance.. I think it is still one of the best releases from Phantasm, I keep it in my record bag for private parties. Ace of Wands : It got old unfortunately, but as a backside tune I don't expect more. "Beings from another World" is the one you want.

Guest christophe[at]mentalrider[dot]co
You are right Hujaboy, let me correct my judgement on Ace of Wands..old but excellent tune in Prana's style (Nick Taylor was half of Prana with Tsuyoshi as well)!!! Everything I heard from projects with Nick Taylor involved is very inspired music, acclaimed everywhere.

Guest christophe[at]mentalrider[dot]co
This is the first Phantasm release...the listing starts at number 6, because previous materials were on DAT. At the time, there had been so much demand for this 6th release that Mark Allen & Nick Taylor decided to release their first record. Phantasm was created by a friend of them called Simon(name?)who saw how difficult releasing a tune could be, created his own label to get all reward on this sound,it was the right move!! and it still works today:-)
