Guest Stathis_gti Posted January 22, 2000 Posted January 22, 2000 I have to disagree here.I think this compilation is rather good.No melodies at all, dark psychedelic and fat beats.Like the way i like it.Many good names like GMS, Planet Ben (organic noise), Nick Taylor (psy-harmonics),Psychopod (KoxBox new name),Hallucinogen can guarrandie the high quality of this compilation. My favourites are 3,4,5,6 and 9. 7.5/10 Quote

Guest Ubik Posted December 23, 2000 Posted December 23, 2000 Great comp, one of the best from the old TIP Very modern sounding, highly psychedelic ! Killer tracks : Out here we are stoned, the two psychopod tracks (though friagram orginal is even better), godzilla, wormhole... 9/10 Quote
Guest mo[at]mo Posted March 27, 2001 Posted March 27, 2001 you now what it is? back to the basics its all the same but since we are "humans" everybody shines they're lite on it different so basicly its all good and bad at the same time. Well thats what I think of it. And fuck yeah I love it Quote
Guest CvEeden Posted August 15, 2001 Posted August 15, 2001 Amazing Compilation. Only found it recently. Amazing how some Trance was so far ahead ot it's time. Great GMS track (1.3 Crumbs). But the proof is in the pudding, and I've seen people party their rocks off on tracks from this compilation. Long live Awesome music!!! Quote
Templar Posted January 3, 2002 Posted January 3, 2002 Children, I cannot believe my eyes. Magik is one of the best Simon the Magician has ever made! Listen to it carefully and you'll understand why the title is Magik. Quote

Trance2MoveU Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Artist: Various Title: Beyond Colour Label: TIP Records Date: June, 1998 1. GMS : 1.3 Crumbs2. E-Rection : Out Here We Are Stoned (X-Dream Rmx)3. Mudspirit : Worm Hole9.Psychopod : Seriaf "An alien approached me. He started talking to me. I think he must've used some kind of raaaaaaaay. Or mind control device?" You might wanna get that checked out. No no...you don't have to shake my hand. Things grow on you. Usually that's a bad thing and then you have to deal with the painful urination, cold sores... *Looks at Imba* This guy knows what I'm talkin about! But this compilation has grown on me in a good way. Antibiotics not needed. I used to hate it bemoaning the absolute lack of Pleiadians style goa. There isn't much goa to be found here in the melodic goa sense of the word, but the psychedelic sounds and atmosphere is at alarming levels. Hazmat suit levels. It grabs at you, envelops you...Really this is some otherworldly sh*t. Ever get glue on your fingers? It's like that, but then goes all alien Spiderman suit on you and begins to take over your body. This was back when GMS didn't garner mandatory facepalms. And they have several tracks that will leave you a mess. Blizzard of Ooze reminds me of the awesome Ant Invasion from Planet Ben . Throw in the always chaotic Hallucinogen and Psychopod and you've got the makings of a psytrance classic. Great psytrance from that late 90's period that still had goa influences, but was more focused on psychedelic submersion. Quote
