Knochentanz 02. Boiling And Stompin Review: boiling and stompin is an acidic bass rumbler with a whole host of dark squelches and fizzles. the pace is relaxed and the beat has a slight shuffle to it that maintains a good flow. this song isn't outstanding but its not so bad either. the samples used here have been done before but at least they don't sound out of place. knochentanz starts out with a more minimal feel but gradually gathers momentum until it acquires a great bubbling acid melody. the percussion is well arranged and churns out smoothly. there is not that much progression to either track but they do maintain interest through an intelligent layout of effects and samples. a respectable first release from a new german label... i hope to hear more.
