Guest Infected_CrusadeR
Well, i'm a big I.M. Fan.. and I relly love BP empire, and I want to remind you about one thing that Erez told.. They are allways trying to make something new. so it is not in place to compare their LP's.. Anyway.. BP Empire .. it is the best production i've ever heard... Best track.. Spaniard, Tasty Mushrom, and Kadafi .. bye..
Guest angelfault[at]aol[dot]com
This album is great! I thought it was okay the first track, after that it just kept getting better. Dancing with kadafi is my favorite track by far. Its probably one of the most progressive tracks ive ever heard, its like 8 styles of music in one, but none of it is shitty. Great guitar, and violin stuff too. I love the phygian scales etc. And then the end hits you with a dose of sting-ish melody that just sounds cool. My other favorite tracks are noise maker, tasty mushroom(would you like to have a tasty mushroom.. that sample made me laugh my ass off), funkamillion, and P.G.M.. 10/10 Another fantastic I.M. album! Guest koirraaah
On par with the earlier Infected albums. 10/10, unique in style.
Guest eye
Quality tracks but almost all of them are B.O.R.I.N.G.
Guest jimmy.m[at]home[dot]se
I don't think it is fair of you to say that it sucks. Infected likes to change their style, and this should be considered a good thing IMO. If they had stuck to the old (yet good) "The Gathering"-style, Classical Mushroom wouldn't exist today. I'm sure they will continue to change their style in future as well, so personally I hope we will get something a bit more melodic (like Nothing Comes Easy) next time, but until then, let's not underestimate this album. It is great in its own way!

Guest smokeBuddha
Damn, I hate to do this without having heard the CD yet, but I gotta say something... All you people who give this album bad remarks because it "doesn't match up to their first or second album" can go to hell. If you want to give a good review, you gotta listen to the CD for what the CD is, and not what it could or should have been. Don't compare it to other CD's!!! Reviews should be based solely on the album at hand.

Guest [Anonymous]
I finally got to hear the entire CD. From what I had heard, and from what even Infected Max said, this album was supposedly less satisfying than the past two. So I started off not expecting much. I was surprised to find that I LOVE this CD. The atmosphere is so spaced and beautiful. The reverb on every sound just jets you out into space and makes you float. The melodys are so beautiful. And the mixture of real instruments. The instruments at times sound very out of place, but you get the feeling that it was done on purpose - like it was meant to be. The overall sound quality is fantastic. Dancing with Kadafi has got to be the most emotional and beautiful song since Muses Rapt's Spiritual Healing track. It is so advanced and perfect - I can't describe it - it just something so different that I can't explain. Overall, this is a fantastic album - and of course they changed styles, and that's what makes it so great. This new style gives them more room to play around and expand their expertice. 9/10 - fantastic
Guest fommen[at]hotmail[dot]com
How come everybody thinks they have a deeper insight in music then others do? Come on, let's just be equal and share stuff instead of trying to steal each others carma..
Guest NFalke666[at]aol[dot]com
It didn't blow me away like Classical... I think this is a type of album that grows on you. but in the long run may proove to be the greatest yet... The piano part on Dancing with Kadafi sounds like Robert Miles... Guest onduras2[at]hotmail[dot]com
The worst IFs production ever
Tatsu
With every album IF chance theiry style a little (at least in my opinion) and so did they now. When I first put the cd in yesterday and heard the beginning I was a little dissapointed while hearing the first song. But then, the after voice sample starts ("infect me" really great!!!) it really gets me going. The music is powerfull and will sure rock at the parties, looking forward to hear it for the first time on a really big sound system. My favourite tracks so far are BP Empire, Never Ever Land and Funchameleon (I've only listened to the Cd 4 times) but I think that the songs will get better and better after hearing the cd more.... Guest [Anonymous]
The best track on this soft release is "spaniard" IMO. The most twisting and layered track with bp empire. The rest suck
Guest disappointed[at]IM[dot]com
I thought I had bought an old album of Moby when I heard the first notes of PGM : sounds exactly like "Go". Some people talked about melodies on this album : where are they ? I loved Classical Mushroom, which mixed so well different influences, with good melodies ; only few of them were what you call cheesy. Here, I just get bored, what a shame... Guest disappointed[at]IM[dot]com
Not PGM, Noise Maker, sorry...
Guest mberry23[at]pacbell[dot]net
I think this album is one that will take time to appreciate... like many of my favorite cd's I didn't really like it on the first few listens. It takes a while... naturally, I expected to hear the style as on Classical Mushroom... its quite different! Its definitely worth listening to a few times to "get it"... sounds very unique for psy and its something new... I'm certain many would be happy if bands kept pumping out the same stuff but... change is very good, its challenging, its not as initially pleasing, but in the end it provides a much more.. interesting listening experience. Guest music lover
Has very unique big picture/atmosphere in the same way their other albums did (mark of timeless art I think), but it is less catchy than Classical Mushroom. On the other hand, I'm sure it will be much more appreciated after it has been experienced on the dancefloor. I'm inclined to say more 'funky mushroom' than usual.
