Guest Epic Automata
This is child's play, just like their other albums. Which is too bad because they've got so much potential and great production. The samples are so incredibly horrible - Noisemaker actually peaked my interest at first, I was having nostalgic visions of a Chinese street party, until the stupid sample came in and spoiled the whole thing. Not for people who like their music to have depth and feeling. 5/
Guest wonderboy[at]pandora[dot]be
It is not so good as their previous album but I can't say that it is a bad album though. The production is made by guys who can say of theirselves they are genious. It sounds very high tech. Dancing with Kadafi is probably one of the greatest GOA tracks ever made. A MUST HAVE! Jon Cocco
ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS CD: WILD, CRAZY, NUTS, INSAINE, AWESOME. Oops I forgot thats five words. Anyway, who said it was rushed??? I read that somewhere above. This cd is absolutly awesome. This sound more simular to Classical Mushroom then The Gathering, but so what. This cd is INCREDIBLE when, like in track 2 or three, those several parts where the music just stops... then BANG, it hits you like a fucking tidal wave on speed! The last track is very unique, and I absolutly love the energy that Infected Mushroom builds in all of their cds. The production, banging! The sounds, as crisp as ever! The voice samples,"WOE," and in all the right places. This is such a fresh, musical, psychedelic, piece of work that if you don't own it, your either retarded, or dead. Guest truthserum[at]hotmail[dot]com
Did anyone read the interview of IM on their website from venezula? These lovers are waiting to go commercial! U.S. COMMERCIAL! I mean, really its not that bad. But making soulless music after two great productions IS, too bad. Tell me whose mouth the carrot$ in. ...... Don't get me wrong,I love IM. But I did learn that I got caught in the hype by buying BP Empire before I listened to it.
Guest manicmagicmmushroomman[at]hotmai
right then - i got this album when it came out... but have wited until now to write a review, as only recentely have i felt i understood it properly... this is now my favourite infected album, it grows on you, sneakily and there are so many clever, subtle changes of pace and timbre. You have to really listen though. Don't expect the huge melodies of either gathering or classical (thank GOD!) many people seem to think that nozemaker is crap... wtf this is AMAZING, that acid line imho is up there with any of posfords best even more amazing, it starts 4.15 and keeps on changing and going until 6.57 that is monstrously long! And yes it IS still there after you think its stopped the rhythmical continuation is apparent all the way through. but the whole album is FULL of things that develop like that - its MUCH more intelligent than ANY other IF release, there is real thought and mastery of the equipment, to a FAR greater degree than any previous outings by them. but it is also an album more about atmospheres than grabbing you straight away. The other two forcably took you for a ride, on this one you have to want to go... i don't like kadafi - some of the turns in here are REALLY bad... Guest **InFeCted XeN**
When I start listen to this whole album - I can't wait till it ends again - this piece sucks........ only real good track is "B.P. Empire" (Wonder why they named the album that!)...........Like Classical and The Gathering much more - 6/10¤
Guest XeN
I agree with -Infected Xen-.. This album is just like a "rape what you saw" thing. I have a suspicious thought of that this album is a matter of "earning money on ones popularity by doing nothin' for it". Erez & Amit: I'm afraid to say this, but missing your style from the two previous albums. over & out - 5/
Guest Y
10/10 A MUST HAVE!!!!! Buy the EP also!!!!
Guest Don't buy this.dk
SuXx Bad Time! If this was the first and only album with Infected, I would never even consider listen to this cheesy crap again - only good track is the title song "BP Empire" and the EP "Roll Us A Giant", sorry....... 5/
Guest Que
I can say that the quality and complexity of this release is stunning, and overall it's a good album. Positive: very diverse, lots of things going on, really groovy, has some beautiful melodies and effects. Negative: 80% of the melodies are WAY TO cheesy, some parts don't really fit together, there's no "flow" in the tracks - some breaks are really stupid; most of the sounds are over-processed, too much reverb or phasing, it really spoils the atmosphere; and finally - there's absolutely no hypnotic/shamanic feeling to it (although it might sound as a PLUS to many people). It looks like a tribute to mr. Posford, and kind of a boaster like "look, we can do that kind of effects too! we can even make gated patterns just like mr.Posford loves to put on vocals/synth lines!" (some gate patterns in Kadafi sound EXACTLY like in Shpongle). Overall - good album, probably a must-have. But it won't last long (In My Humble Opinion

Guest BPHandJob[at]InvestmentCo[dot]co
I'm so glad there are drugs or something speedy to take take to make you feel like ther is something powerful in BP Empire or the Universe. But, when to buzz going hard I realize what the fuck are they doing, IT Doesn't Go Anywhere? Sounds like progressive industrial-goth, please the current crowd regurgitation over & over oops POP and over again. Lacks Intent and Direction $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ makes dreams happen even if you want to sell poo-poo.........shameless..... Runner up to Paul Oakenfold .... 10/10 (I have stock)

Guest djcpr[at]hotmail[dot]com
Well I think that this album will help psytrance as a whole become more musical overall. Because, and let's be honest about it, most psytrance doesn't have enough melodical structure to really call it music. But Infected and other bands are pushing the envelope of melodical structure with their arrangements. Each track on this album builds itself to perfection from the first note, and if you can't see that when you here it then listen closer and put on the headphones for crying out loud. Infected Mushroom/BP Empire 10/

garraeth
I agree with all those who give this high ratings (9/10-Classical was better)...and I agree w/ Jon Cocco. I'm in the States and have seen everthing get washed out by the media plenty'O times...bleh. IM please don't get corrupted/bought out by $$. Guest psycho666
Lol those comments are funny, so everybody's supposed to become "commercial", nobody knows who the hell infected mushroom is. I really try to like those supposed good trance/goa groups by almost everything sucks. I wasted a night downloading this cheesy high school kids music. Each of these tracks take a couple of days to make if you have some talent, put some beat, some samples and shitty lyrics like "nah nah nah" and loop forever until you get to 8 minutes, wow talk about talent. It sounds like Orbital music made by retards. I checked Dracul and some tracks from Classical which are good but 2 tracks per album dont work. I like Juno Reactor so I'm not just whining against this type of music. These guys do have some talent but they dont seem to know how to use it. Hmm JON COCCO dude wtf are you talking about, and since when is Crystal Method doing GOA? Damn get a clue. Yeah trance/goa will never become popular in north america and I really hope it'll stay like that, there's already too much crap around. I'll check The Gathering, I hope it's much better than the following 2 albums.
