karcarman
nobody will read this because there too much opinions here...Strange album, nice but not magical as were the Gathering and Classical. Where are the Infected melodies ?
Guest rui_tinta[at]yahoo[dot]com
I've listen everything there is to listen from IM and I think BP Empire really is the best album from them. It may not be the "psychadelichest" of all, but IS the one where their classical backgroud is most noticed. Then again, all their tracks are good... Guest Hohenzollern[at]angelfire[dot]co
Hell yeah. This album -- call it whatever you want people. Trance, psychedelic, cheese, commercial, weird, or "psychedelichest": it sounds damn cool though, sometimes beautiful. I've never seen an album with so many sub-genres there have been attached to in the reviews section! It must be really hard [and I.F. must be really talented] to fit all those styles into one album -- oh yeah, they are also "housemusic" too like Hamett said... okay, maybe 1/3 of track 7, but not the whole album. I have great respect for this group because at least they are always diong more unique and fascinating things... other artists that release an album that sounds just like their last isn't very etnertaining anymore. Just enjoy the album... listen to it a few times. Blew me away! 9/
Guest binke[at]binke[dot]org
I think that its the critisicm that is bringing down the scene (to a commercialistic level) and *not* the music. Â Love, Nathan
Guest [Anonymous]
all the album is good but tasty mushroom is awesome
Guest [Anonymous]
Very nice work from boys from Israel. Not as good as Classical Mushroom though, which I think is competing with Twisted and Let's turn on. Anyways, there are a few not-so-good, I won't say bad tracks, and some very, very good like dancing with Kaddafi. All in all, 9-/
Guest [Anonymous]
at least the album of century!!!! my favs are funkamelleon pgm noisemaker.. all are fantastic, but the best made song since the spiritual healing is DANCING WITH KADAFI! that song has in itself the meaning of life
Guest PsyTranceQ /DJ
Sad Sad Sad..... They've made the album of the century(Classical Mushroom) - but could'nt stand the pressure of the mainstreambeast, this album suckX bad time! Overall 5/10 but I'll raise to 6/10 because of that only and exellent track that last: "B.P. Empire"....
Guest [Anonymous]
bp empire kicks arse as the best infected ever, but space cat overshadows any israeli trance released since Astral's Trust In Trance album.
Guest Stathis_gti
The covers is shit, the music is shit! Very boring, bad music direction in my opinion...nothing reminds me of the old good Infected Mushroom...:-(
Guest rroots[at]goatrance[dot]com
it's a overall nice album. but i have a question: where that IM special sound go? Â the only track that i really enjoy on the album is Dancing with Kadafi. very melodic, and there's a little funky something in it that makes you groove. Â still, i prefer the old tracks. Guest [Anonymous]
This was happens when a 12 year old gets his hands on a NordLead and some acid.... I wish I could take this album back to the store, get my money back and buy some toilet paper instead..... BEWARE, THIS IS BAD TRIP MUSIC!!! Guest otaku
I cant believe the guys who run this website didnt recommend this Cd.Compared to 99% of psytrance these days this CD fucking rocks. All tracks are triplicious and show that these guys never run out of ingenuity.Perfect 10/
Guest child_of_goa[at]hotmail[dot]com
why are there so many people complaining about this album?!!! Just listen to PGM and you will understand why i'm asking that!!!There are many GOOD songs in this album - but there's nothing like PGM. The song makes you achieve the trance state. the voice samples... the melody... wowowowowo!!! Dancing with Kadifi.... very interesting. completly different from the whole cd - actually, differnt from anything that IM has ever made. C'mon let's be open to new stuff!!! That's how goa was created anywayz!!! Â ..{(~*~)}..
Guest MG
I'm glad I have ears, these reviews aren't making the choice easy! Definetly a different album, It could be the transition of something interesting, just wait & see...
Guest goaman[at]goatrance[dot]com
What should i say about this really great album?I think Dancing with Kadafi is one of the best tracks i've ever heard. It is just amazing!!!You here so many elements, rhythms and sounds. And you go strait to the end-and what an end it is!!!Every time i hear this end i become teardrops in my eyes and just want to fly!!!This is over the music,it symbol of peace and love
Guest Ravenblade
This album is really great... the album would be worth the money just for Dancing with Kadafi, but the other tracks kick ass too. Just go get it! 8/
Guest clark_303
A great album. I love that vocal sample on the first track, infect me too.=) Nice crunchy acid lines and mystic melodies with infected kicks in all songs except the last one...Crystal clear production and really good sounds, very rare in melodic psy-trance(but Infected Mushroom has done it before too . The thing is, I don't like Dancing with Kadafi that much, I've listened to progressive rock and stuff like that so the guitars don't impress me(pretty lame in my opinion). So except for the last track(it's not bad though, just not my style), a kick-ass album. I hope Infected Mushroom will continue making stomping dance tracks and Dancing with Kadafi was just an experiment. -Clargoa
