Guest ashonacid[at]shpongle[dot]com
worth listening to a few times. I like it, but not enough to recommend the price you'd pay to get this considering what else is out there. There have been more subtle and successful attempts to produce psy trance that's dark. Sandman and Dark Soho, for instance. Oh, and THE DELTA!
Guest Goa Spirit
is that this is a very good piece of work,,, to me this is of extra value, since it is one of the first full on albums... the sound of hux flux, infected mushroom - the gathering etc. closely resemble a lot of ideas from xenomorph.. this does sound dated in places. well it was made in 98..... but i would still play track 7 for the indiana jones voice sample/.// peace
Guest Jason - Los Angeles, CA
Oh, and how can you compare to Dark Soho. This CD is a couple years older, which explains why it sounds kind of dated. IT IS. Mark, please come to LA and scare the shit out of me. Guest Candlejack
I agree The Delta is even darker... But comparing this to Dark Soho is not right... This one's better than Dark Soho!! Just wanted to say that ..
Guest Rabbitakis[at]Hotmail[dot]com
The album is dark and demonic , Xenomorph mixes samples from horror movies (Hellraiser2,Exorcist) with old style (98)trance.The result is very good, creates dark atmospheric feeling that can scare you a lot especially if you are tripping..it is not right to compare delta and dark-soho because their music is more updated. I can only compare it with sandman and tim-schuldt.Tim Sculdt and Sandman are better (the GodFathers of dark) but Xenomorph cd is still really good and worths your time.. Ps: Other Tracks to find for this artist: KillerState, Satans Presence(the best),Malkuth Temple.Silimaki Murder ToolKit,gnomes, telepathic combat,Mr.Wino, brubacker Loader, aquarius leap, lifeforms and one of the most atmospheric tracks Another Time !!! See u in HELL!
Guest the dank man
I think this kicks ass. Although, I normally don't like this type of melodic trance, this is quite different. This is so shroomey and out there, much like Sandman's Witchcraft. This is very acidy. Get it. Hallucinatory Spheres is one of my favorites. Beginning and end are very techno-trance -- the stuff you tend to see on small labels this year (2001), but the melodies at the end add in and make a beautiful trancey, light, almost SRange-like more progressive trance, which at the same time (also like S-Range) doesn't lose its psychedelics. This is quite a bit more dark than S-Range though... get it. 9/
Guest the dank man
This guy does too much acid, maaaaan! This is evil, talented stuff. The cross between X-dream, Process and Sandman -- yeah!!! Very danceable at times (Hallucinatory spheres), too weird at times (Cassandra's Nightmare). Great stuff, so psychedelic, I don't know if you pussies can handle it. ;-) 8*
Guest the dank man
I think the horror movie lyrics are really great. Just get stoned and listen to Torrent of Insanity -- and if you don't like it, consider this, my friends: are you really smoking the right dank? Guest hands[at]deepfriedcheese.co[dot]
This is a great piece of work. Original and provoking. It's easy to find psytrance, have you noticed there's a lot of it? It's not so easy to find something that tries to play with a genre. Who said PsyTrance was supposed to be all happy anyway? I heard this album for the first time back in 99 and it took me a while to overcome the dark atmosphere and enjoy it for what it is. It wasn't until recently I figured out why that was a good thing. I've heard a LOT of music between 99 and today! but this one of those rare ones that sticks in your head. Well done Xenomorph!

Guest Fishgrinder[at]t-online[dot]de
I love this Album,i´m mostly into extrem metal forms like deathmetal, goregrind, grindcore and all that stuff,i´m into horrormovies and dark atmosphere...my mom is a goa dj and she showed this album to me cauz she thought it could be my thing, and she was right, that album opened some kinda doorway to suddenly loving Goamusik, but i havn´t really found a piece of dark goa like this again,it´s my favoured Goa-LP so far...10/10 Points

Guest goatobi[at]gmx[dot]de
I wonder why a few people are so angry about this cd. They first should make their own stuff to see how hard it can be to create music.....
Guest 1234567890987654321
I think that this is the most darkest and good melodic album. So i think that Xenomorph must be in every D.J.'s bag
Guest Joemrmeat[at]hotmail[dot]com
This album is so dark, it contain a strange dark magic. Whenever I listen this album, I feel bad or paranoiac !! It's great, but the album have a strange influence on the people who listen to it...anyway: 8.5/10 By the way, why xenomorph have stop doing albums ?? Guest stmwho[at]mail[dot]com
S.P.I.X.Y... There is not much to be scared of unless you're a sizzy boy. This is the right old goa sound. One might call it dark or old goa but when i like it, it is at least not chees. Mixes very well with alcohol. Track 3 is quite good. 4 and 5 are also pretty groovy. Yeah hell, the whole album is good stuff. Maybe it is not innovative, but the sound is just right!
