The first part of the Cd isn't very good and has some strange songs (3,4) that aren't very good... Sure not to dance!! Luckely the CD really starts with nr 5!!! Very good song of Elysium... Jaïa isn't too great but after that we have 3 "killers" (7,8&9)altough it's strange to place them together on 1 CD!! Also a pitty is that most of those songs are already on other compilations... So If you already have nr 5,7,8&9, don't buy this CD!!
Guest Acidhive
Starts with Electric Sunrise (SUN Project And Electric Universe) and this track rocks!! Love the guitars in this. Track 2 is Der Dritte Raum with quite a melodic track. Pretty spacey. Next up Planet BEN. with Spiralkinda. Just like always, minimalistic, but pretty good. Weird track from Genetic is next, but I like it. Next up Elysium with a track with great killer stereo effects. Just listen to this on headphones!! Jaïa follows with their usual style. So, good. Green Nuns deliver some madness again and Chi A.d. Astral Warrior remix is better than the original!! Ends with the penultimate Dancing Galaxy from AP! This one rules bigtime! Good compilation, strong tracks... 8/10 from me.
Guest tom[at]bogman[dot]com
Not bad, I was initially dissappointed with all but a few notably green nuns of the revolutions and Jaia. Elysium grew on me (that cool wolf's howl) and so funnily enough did Der Dritte Raum (still a bloody wierd track though!). If you are searching for a definitive trance compilation don't get this get the strong labels..6/

Trance2MoveU
Artist: Various Title: Chakra Blue: A Psychedelic Trance Compilation Vol. 2 Label: Cameleon Date: 1999 01. 08'10" Electric Sunrise : Electric Sunrise02. 07'44" Der Dritte Raum : Hale Bopp03. 08'28" Planet BEN And Spiralkinda : Triple Helix04. 08'23" Genetic : Floor05. 09'14" Elysium : Trancelestial Psychobabas06. 07'25" Jaïa : Breathing Ocean07. 07'29" Green Nuns Of The Revolution : Rings Of Fire08. 09'16" Chi-ad : Astral Warrior (Rmx)09. 09'18" Astral Projection : Dancing Galaxy "The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness. The spice is vital to space travel. Travel...without moving." Once spice can do that? Our greatest pharmaceutical contribution to date is a pill that keeps octogenarians humping. We've got a long way to go people. This was the compilation series that used to include flacons of perfume with each new installment until the burnouts started drinking them like it was a free mai tai. Instantly recognizable these compilations include some of the biggest names in goa trance. Yes they're all here...Astral when they actually produced something other than delays, Chi-A.D. and the sample they beat you over the head with in the Astral Warrior remix, and the madness that is the Green Nuns. And that's just the final three tracks. Mind you those tracks are on 62 other compilations so I'm sure you already have them. I liked the progressive goa track from Jaia that had me feeling as if I were swimming with the whales. Elysium also impressed even though it seemed as if he stuck a couple tracks together. And what's with the wolf? Genetic's track was also progressive in nature; that is to say not storming like the last three. Kinda spooky in a 1950's horror type way. Which brings me to the first three tracks. The EU Sun Project collaboration misses the mark unless its target was mediocrity. Der Dritte Ram was always a little out there, but I didn't think they would make a trance track that was less exciting. They did. Leave it to Planet B.E.N. to go metallic and futuristic on the way to the minimal style they liked to wallow in. The effects were well done however. So after a slow start things eventually get interesting and rise to a fever pitch with the last third of the compilation being storming tracks you've heard more than happy birthday. Hardly a classic. Ok space cadets, prepare to hurtle through the...well, maybe we could just walk. Cone to think of it is there a bus that runs by here? My feet are killing me.
