I've had this album for quite a while now... this is Perfect! the only cheeze

one might hear is within the listeners own lack of creativity... If anybody

"see's" something wrong with this album, perhaps you should listen to

something less complex. not everyone has the mental capability to understand

something so divine...

BP Empire is already complete, they are now waiting for the cover...

This is a masterpiece of trance. If anyone disagrees they are in their right,

but they really should check to see what is -their- trance.

The CD is amazingly well built with excellent musics, excellent tunes, just

great.

All musics are great...Bust A Move is perhaps the master piece.

I'm a big fan of classical music and I was blow away by the classical overtones

of this awesome album. Unlike other electronic music, these guys prove that

the have the raw talent it takes to make quality music. I've studied music

for years, and nothing has impressed me as much as the sounds of Infected

Mushroom. Keep up the good work, I'll be anxiously awaiting every new track.

The best CD in my collection, and I doubt that there's ever gonna be a better.

imust have heard the CD between 3- and 400 times and it just keeps getting

better. This is the stuff that makes legendary albums. In 50 years i'll still

be listening to it. 11/10 and thx infected for all the great songs.

BUST A MOVE is not a song its a mix of strange melodies from different types of

music that worked ok but not as a goatrance track!!!!! THATS WHY INFECTED R

NOT THAT GOOD

Infected Mushroom totally has an unique sound in classical mushroom. All songs

are heavenly remixed, pannings rule, and are combined with elements of

acoustic guitars and such. What messed up (in my opinion) infected mushroom's

last album (the gathering) was the use of same samples again and again, which

for me (as a tracker) doesn't sound good. But Classical Mushroom rules

bigtime. [9.5/10]

I agree with the guy above, samples were AWFUL in Gathering- cheeseball horror

movie shit- who likes flying to that?! Little kids and insecure "I'd like you

to think I'm bad" males might dig that shit but not me...

More than with any album I've heard, each track has it's own personality

and is totally distinct and very colorful. The opposite of that would be

Pleidaians for instance. I can listen to this whole album at once and not get

exhausted of it.

MDMA- who gives a fuck if isn't conformist, boring "goatrance"?! Don't

classify this one then because what it IS is beautiful, genious, insane,

wonderful, mind-melting "music" and proof that God loves us :-)

I'm so sick of these people who put down Infected just because they are

really popular(and that IS the reason). GET OVER IT! Go listen to something

else but quit with this poor sport/fuddy-duddy shit and go say unintelligent,

nasty things about a cause that means something instead

The second best Psy album I own with IFO. I bought it one year ago and it still

sounds so moving. I can understand some people said it's not pure Psy because

for instance you don't find those acid sounds (that I can't stand anymore BTW)

so common in other Psy releases. Instead, you have other instruments being

introduced. But for me, this is an excellent attempt to define a new Psy sound

by mixing musics that normally don't fit. And they made that perfectly. The

Gathering was much more Psy mainstream, even with some nice innovations. This

one is something completely different. And the cover art is probably the most

original I've seen on a Psy album, with a wonderful 3D texture. 9.5/10

Let me tell you what...

Bizzare stuff from IM. Unique, capable of penetrating in the deepest corners of

your soul, when in the right mood, though. My own experience shows that it

either has its magical effect or simply does nothing, in this last case it

becomes somewhat irritating, flat & overloaded. But each moment has its

favourites, I guess.

Having taken my emotions aside, I'd say it is GREAT, but not as perfect as

almost everybody says here - there are lot of improvements yet could be

made... Classical instruments in trance = great, but if they were used in more

complex way, deep, not so gamish then such album would become pure perfection.

Also there's quite a problem with rithm & these melancholic notes - it should

be either full-on or truly melancholic, not the mixed one as it is. This album

has its imaginative power, but the energy is almost missing, which is drawback.

This MHO, however, not the guide for one who decides whether to buy this album

or restrain (everybody should have already bought it already, if not - go get

it!), but it is just my humble vision of ways to improve it, sooth-to-say,

rather captious one. But my criticism (not cretinism) here is well-grounded, I

guess. This album is hard-to-compare with The Gathering, just because the

first has more power in it, while the second is more inventive & mature.

Personally, I dare to think they could be equally rated. So, Classical

Mushroom gets 8/10 from me.

Well... I reckon CM is IM's best album .

(Though I got into Psychedelic right after being a House freak ...I'm a gal

with problems ,but I do know smth...)

TG repeats itself and doesn't have much melodies in it .

It's mainly about the bass and the kicks because it's built esp. for parties .

Though I do like TG and I reckon it IS a masterpiece and moves my feet

everytime I listen to it . Tommy the Bat & Psycho are the best tracks there I

reckon . The rest are just Okay to me .

CM is a bit more cheesy though very sophisticated , such a stunning combination

of melodies and 'booms' - the kicks are perfectly combinated with the bass and

the melodies . I don't reckon the melodies repeat themselves at all (e.g -

there's not a chance that Bust A Move and Dracul have similar melodies ... GET

A GRIP ! ) .

BP Empire is a let down after TG and CM . It is a good CD , but tracks like

'Prehistoric Goa Mood' and 'Noise Maker' are just a waste . 'Dancing with

Kadai' , 'Spaniard' and 'Unbalanced' are the best tracks I reckon . I believe

Erez & Duvdev are still looking for differ styles to make us DANCE . They

succeed with doing that , and I'm looking forward to their incoming CD's .

Obviously it's gonna take them a while , but INFECTED MUSHROOM is always #1 for

me . All in all , Classical Mushroom is their best album in my opinion , 9/10 .

PS - I'm also looking forward to August 2nd ... if I'm not mistaken ... cya in

Tzemach !

This is without any doubt the greatest album of IM! (BP Empire is also good but

can't beat this one).

It has a very powerfull melodical strength in it and is produced by

perfectionists.

A MUST HAVE ALBUM!!!

This is arguably the best Infected Mushroom album to date. Their music style is

a hell of a lot different from The Gathering. In my opinion, The Gathering had

one totally magnificant track, which was Virtual Voyage. If

you listen to Goa, you have to own this. If you don't buy Goa cd's, you have

to start NOW!!! No one downloads stuff like this. It's an insult. It

should be illegal! This album is not over hyped. It deserves every

great review it gets.

shitty album. this guys don't know what psychedelia is all about and I guess

they havn't touched a single drop of LSD through their intire career. good to

hear, good to know, good to dance for people who ate like lots of MDMA but not

psychedelic at all.

Boring? Not at all! This is by far the best IM album IMO.

It took me some time to learn to like it, like with most albums, but now I love

it. One of the best albums (not only goa) ever released. Easily on the same

level with ie. Twisted, Let's turn on, TIP yellow, or Beyond the infinite.

Every track (except number 2, which is a bit dull) is so elaborately composed,

so rich of sound and so

emotionally moving. My favourites are Dracul and Nothing comes easy (check the

part when it explodes at about 4:30!). A must have.
