Guest necromanzer[at]gmx[dot]ch Posted October 25, 2000 Posted October 25, 2000 Oh my god! What is this! This album was not made on this planet :-))! Absolutely twisted and freakyyy!!!! This kick ass album is a must have! Go and get it, now! 10/10 Quote
vOrTeXdReAm Posted November 6, 2000 Posted November 6, 2000 It keeps getting better and better every single time I listen to it. Sometimes it's a bit too messy and I still think it lacks some structure, but I tend to enjoy the chaotic madness more and more. I guess the Logic Bomb album made me understand the crazy, unmelodic patterns better and to appreciate the harsh, metallic sounds in this album even more. I still don't think it's a great album, but it sure as hell makes more sense now than the first time I listened to it. "Cryptic Crunch" is a good example of what Scandosounds are all about. To all Israeli freaks - "Duck and cover!!?!"... Quote
bomble Posted November 7, 2000 Posted November 7, 2000 Ok - whoever got into the Hallucinogen/Hux Flux debate needs to step back and take them each for what they are. Posford's superb use of the dial-up demonstrates his mastery of all things electronic, but HuxFlux have captured something raw, deeply psychedelic and totally astounding. If you're reviewing Hux Flux, then point out how fresh and intriguing each track sounds even after several playings, and how totally unpretentious the whole thing is. Album covers - pixellated - frankly who cares ! If you judge this by its cover you'll be sorely mistaken. Don't delay, buy it today ! Quote
Guest Cnt97 Posted November 9, 2000 Posted November 9, 2000 This is not average!!!.. this rocks your ass... Many of the songs was made in 1998... talk about a NEW style back then.. i heard several songs in the "famous" forestparties in Sweden.. completely ROCKS .. filled with feelings!!!!!!!! This is what GOA is all about.. partyfeelings!... UNDERGROUND music but STILL very good quality and production... the songs makes me smile.. there is always a glimt in the eye in all tracks... I LOVE IT... 9.5/10. Â Definitly gets you to dance.. .wherever you are... SMILE... Quote
Guest [Anonymous] Posted November 12, 2000 Posted November 12, 2000 Swedish psy-trance at its best. Quote

Guest setorsetor[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted December 7, 2000 Posted December 7, 2000 I hold this album as one of my collection's jewels... I wouldn't say they're better than Posford (TLD is the main jewel in my collection)...they are what they are: one of the most interesting bands around. Their mastery of electronic noises is simply incredible; although their masterpiece is Idiot, in Anti's Progress in Trance, in this album they really merge the weirdest sounds with the coolest notes and rhythms, and it just keeps on changing and evolving...that's probably what i like most about them, the ability to surprise, to create new things...I'm keeping an eye out for everything else they make, and trust me, they're doing even better... 10 Quote
Guest luisgr76[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted December 12, 2000 Posted December 12, 2000 When i buy these i think these guys are nuts, and a year after i think the same, 1 of the best sacndinavian albums of ever, all songs are dark, twisted, and had a particular sound caracteristic of hux flux, i just have one thing more to say, HUX FLUX PLEASE DO ANOTHER ALBUM; I HOPE SOON¡¡¡¡¡ 11/10 a must have. just the best minimal Quote
Guest aricz Posted December 16, 2000 Posted December 16, 2000 i must say this is the best psytrance-album ever. pure rawness.. it's a beauty. it tears your mind apart without asking.. twisting it, bending it.... and it does it in a raw style! it makes you fly. how the hell someone can produce music like this i don't understand, this is out of this world. only alien minds can do this sort of art. i'll give this album with the whole of my heart 100/100. perfect. Quote
Guest aricz Posted December 16, 2000 Posted December 16, 2000 hehe, okey, i'll have to rewrite some of this, i wrote the first review while shaking of adrenaline. anyway, this is the best psytrance-album i've heard, almost perfect. i'll give it 9.5/10. this *is* pure rawness! Quote
Guest Ubik Posted December 22, 2000 Posted December 22, 2000 Really wicked album ! Most songs are caracterised on a strong bassline and lots of crazy noises, until a dark melody kicks in,... or not. Production is perfect, sounds are everywhere in all directions ! Best tracks are calculus, Tripple Nipple, Cryptic Crunch and Elixir. Howerver there are a couple of songs I can't stand, so 7.5/10 Quote
Guest ArchNemesis Posted January 3, 2001 Posted January 3, 2001 The first two tracks, Calculus & Tripple Nipple rules. Not to mention the rest of the cd, but these two really stands out. Dont know why, but they do. Quote
Guest graciete.reino[at]oninet[dot]pt Posted January 14, 2001 Posted January 14, 2001 hux flux are good..very good this album is extremely creative and with sounds very experimentalist, which is one quality of them, like inovation. best tracks:2(the best)3,7 and 9.Punctuation:6/10 Quote
Guest [Anonymous] Posted January 15, 2001 Posted January 15, 2001 hux flux rules.ditt namn i min mund(saft dritt rmx) is one of the best songs i have ever heared Quote
Guest Maupau Posted January 16, 2001 Posted January 16, 2001 This album is great, definately worth buying. But I really disagree with someone earlier saying Sweden has the best parties. It's almost impossible to even have a party in this country if it's location isn't very secret so you can only invite a small number of people. But, if you manage to arrange it secretly, then yes, I've been to some awesome parties here, with some of the most wonderful people in the whole scandinavian psytrance scene, I think :-). So love to you all, you know who you are! Quote
Guest [Anonymous] Posted February 3, 2001 Posted February 3, 2001 Good Shit, even though I don't like scandinavian psytrance. The Beats and the sounds are totaly crazy Quote
Guest smokeBuddha Posted February 9, 2001 Posted February 9, 2001 This fuckin rules!! Top 10 List. 10/10 Quote
Guest [Anonymous] Posted February 16, 2001 Posted February 16, 2001 9.5/10... PERFECT PARTY MUSIC Â Underground, VERY VERY psychedelic, tons of sounds.. and VERY driven!!!!.......... Quote
Guest Cnt97 Posted February 18, 2001 Posted February 18, 2001 Calculus is one of the best tracks here... its AWESOME. So driven and psychedelic!!!!!! Quote
Guest Carlos Posted February 27, 2001 Posted February 27, 2001 hehe, i've never heard one single track with hux flux before, but i brought the album anyway, relying on these opinions posted here... i'm trusting you guys... =) Quote
Guest cheapario[at]juno[dot]com Posted March 7, 2001 Posted March 7, 2001 Is Hux Flux anything like Beast the collab between Simon Posford and Sean Willams aka Hallucinogen(do I have really have to mention that) and Process? If so, count me in cuz 'Spawn' from Beast has changed my expectations and standard of what Psy-Trance is all about. Wicked Alchemy of the highest order. 5=6 Quote
Guest mindphase[at]goatrance[dot]com Posted March 10, 2001 Posted March 10, 2001 Pure genius. I'm still in awe and i bought the album 5 months ago. Quote
