Ripping psychedelica. Its weird, but isnt that what being trippy is all about??? BTW, they are much better live... which is hard to believe when you hear how good they are on this album. 8/10 Quote

Guest Mescalinium Posted August 25, 2001 Posted August 25, 2001 While this album was very ahead of its time (I believe it came out in 98, or at the very latest, early 99) it just doesn't seem as fresh or exciting as it used to. I still dig Calculus and Short Circuit, but as a whole it pales in comparison to his later work like the Lex Rex Perplex/Errorhead EP and Idiot. 6/10. Add a point if you've been in a cave for 3 years and have never heard a Hux Flux track before. Quote

All the tracks are fucking brilliant , It is Electric , Psychedelic , Trance with heavy basslines and excellent drum rhythms. Best tracks SHORT CIRCUIT(the best),Nervoservo,Alkaloid and Cryptic Crunch. Listen definetily this cd and if you like try to find the Best track they produced till now : ErrorHead! 10/10 Quote

I've been listnin to goa trance for more than 10 years ( juno times..), got about 400 cd's of psytrance & i'm into minimalistic, progressive & full on psyche stuff as well but THIS SUX bad, & it's BORING as hell.. Just imagine a couple of nerds playing with their comps in their comfy home on a dark swedish nite & you get the picture. Forget this piece of wankin beats & get some REAL noise, there's so much great new stuff around hehe Quote

But boring can not be the right word..if this album is boring, most of psy trance records are not good and boring. You might not like Hux flux's style and sound colour? Well I did not really like it at first, but with years I learned to apreciate those acid sounds in parties..Dennis is good, man, and this album is to be kept for later reference if you don't like it right now.
