Guest Stormbringer
Human Blue - Dancin Zue / Multipus Artist: Human Blue Title: Dancin Zue / Multipus Label: Flow Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Dancin Zue 02. Multipus Review: The fifth ep from the Portuguese label Flow http://www.flow-records.com is made by Human Blue, and now I´m starting to wonder if Flow ever will release any material by some Portuguese acts? Flow is turning Scando! Five releases so far and four made by Scandinavians! I must say though that Dj Pena collects some nice material for his label. I don´t think Human Blue needs any presentation after several killer-releases over the years, but if there´s someone out there not too familiar with Dag Wallins work you´ve got some nice catching up to do. His sound may differ from release to release but the base is usually smoth warm building morningfriendly trance with an edge. This ep is no exception from that, and just as with the ep "Carpe Diem", released on Spiral Trax, this is an ep that gets better and better every time you listen to it. Both tracks evolves and changes in a subtle but still notable way towards the end. Every time you listen to these tracks you´ll hear some new things that you missed the last time you listened to it. Even though both tracks may sound a little monotonous at first you won´t think that for so long. I had to wait before I wrote a review just as I had to do with the "Carpe Diem" ep. At first neither of the tracks interested me much, but it was the same thing with the "Carpe Diem" ep so instead of writing a poor review saying it´s an average ep I´ve waited until now. Now I´m pretty sure it´s a really good ep but it´s not as magic as the one released on Spiral Trax some months ago. This one is more sober and slower with a little less sounds and emotions, but if you liked the Spiral Trax-release you´ll end up smiling when you hear this too. Nearest thing to compare Human Blue with may be S-Range, but if you ask me who´s the king of the hill? The answer is Dag Wallin if we talk about this kind of beautiful positive-vibed trance. Guest psygroove
for everybody who loves his trance with a nice flow, a heart warming but "not cheezy at all" melody this EP is defenitely worth a buy. I discovered it more or less coincidentally on Audiogalaxy and had to buy it right away. Go for it you fraggles out there :-]
Guest psygroove
I am sorry, I thought of Human Blue - Carpe Diem and Intercity EP 2001 when I wrote the above, which is actually the more melodic EP. But the above is nice as well. A little more tribal and rather psychedelic sounds than melody. Check them out :-]
