DeathPosture
V/A - Daneism 1 Artist: Various Title: Daneism 1 Label: Ayahuasca Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 08'53" D-Vei : On 02. 08'20" Autopsy : Kneecap 03. 07'41" NASA : Flodekaramel 04. 07'24" Cubica : Thick Snowball 05. 06'49" Reefer Decree : Paperbox 06. 08'37" Castell : Blue Diamond 07. 07'16" Genetic Spin : Mummy Tango 08. 08'38" Psyless Groove : Beats Of Our Time 09. 09'00" Gome : Sound Safari Review: Very deep, minimal, sophisticated trance here, from the underground of Denmark. This is the first major release from Aalborg-based Danish label Ayahuasca Records. Their first release was the Cubica "Cubica EP" released last summer. On this compilation they have managed to gather a very fine collection of minimal tunes from the fast-growing group of talented Danish underground trance-artists.A nice blend of well-know names, and up-coming talents. The style is unmistakably deep trance. Ranging from full-on minimal to groovy progressive deep trance. Fav'e tracks: #3 Flødekaramel - Very nice, powerfull track. Flødekaramel is a Danish word, meaning a toffee-caramel thing. *s*, #5 Paperbox - Amazing track from the masters Reefer Decree, #6 Blue Diamond - Dark, spooky track from Castell here. Made by Maria Castell (Also a member of D-Vei) . We don't have enough female artists in psytrance. Let Maria show the way! ;o) . #8 Beats Of Our Time - Ahh. Amazing deep track. Just listen! ;o) . The only flaw this CD has, is that it can get a little monotonous at times. But that's a general problem in minimal releases I guess. All in all, a very good compilation that would satisfy any fan of intelligent deeptrance. Hats off to my good friends Allan (Tailor), Nikolaj (Maraca) and the rest of the Ayahuasca-family. Live the dream guys!! It wouldn't be fair if I were to give this a rating, as I can't really be objective when I know the guys who released this. I will leave the rating to someone non-partisan. All I can say is - this rocks!! ;o)
Guest ivan.nowodworsky[at]aventis[dot]
Minimal Trance and Deep Trance represente a part of the Psy Trance family. And indeed on Cubica and Reefer Decree, for the most known, are very good PsyTrance artists. Please open your minds and be not closed....... Guest pekindux
be warned very minimal release, but comes along with some of the funkiest baselines. Excellent listening music and therfore most tracks here is not pumping dancefloor orientated. Rating 8/10.
