Review:

 

Very intresting And original album. Intresting thing is that most of

tracks

(6 out of 9) are under 130 BPM, so they are rather slow. All stuff is

not

only minimalistic trance (as U could expect from Michael Kohlbecker &

Alexandra Bachman - also Eternal Basement) only I could say it's dark'en

 

trance. Very original is also rythmic section. First "Cunted" it's

chilly

one, samples of classical music, sounds of fusion between nature &

electronic music. It sounds great, it sounds multidimensional (like

whole

album). "Overcome" (3/4?) really great track, hypnotic rythm, dark

theme.

Also "Piz Sorega" - with such great drum section which turns my

cosciousness in trance-state. "Foot Message" this track is more

minimalistic

than others, also "Das Signal" (first fast track - 140 BPM) - hard

stuff, but also rythm do with your mind what it wants. "IOTA" (140 BPM)

this one is really dark And minimal. "TR" again, experimenting with rythm.

 

And the last track "Holo Deck" is only a short musical impression of

sound.

So, as I said, it's rythmistic album, authors put a big pressure on a

experimenting with rythm sound, And I think succesfull. The most I like

this slower tracks (1-5). If u like Spirallianz, Montauk P or Eternal

 

Basement, u'll like this. 8/10.

Intresting album of minimalistic trance. You can hear music which sounds like

Atmos, or other dark hypnotic And minimalistic CD's. Favourite "Counted", "Piz

Sorega" And "Overcome". 7/10

This is a pretty awesome album. I like the fact that it starts slowly and then

progresses into hard pounding mind melting tracks. Quality stuff. 8/10

Excellent work. Strips away all that is superfluous and lays bare the core of

trance. Mostly dark without being cinematic. A little slow, but plays just

fine at +8% and mixes into pretty much any other German stuff or Spiral Active

Project.

I enjoy most of this album, except track 1... which to me doesnt justify 15

minutes of downtempo time... but the rest is very tasty and smooth... sounds

related to SonKite and other minimal progressive trance.

This album isn't for everyone! With this said, I liked this album, the 1st

track rocked as did from memory track 8 and a few others. I wouldn't buy this

album though, as I just bought an album very similiar to it (Auricular- Shive

Chandra) & it didn't pass my 2/3 majority policy when I shell out money for a

CD, Maybe that guy who is giving away that CD still has it lying around?!?

Brilliant album - No 1. is a brilliant ambient with quite outstanding soundwork

and very effective harmonies full of soul that is. Other tracks that stand out

on the faster side of this not so fast album are 3,4 and 6. This is a quality

minimalistic German trance and reminds me a lot of the SPIRIT WE HAVE LOST

SOMWHERE..... So... ppl... if you are not too connected to the VIBE but only

to banging your head at walls, then it's not for you, don't buy it, but SURE

it ain't no shit or boring - It's a PIECE OF ART! I hope that all the TRUE

ARTISTS will hold on to TRUE MUSIC.. Go on!!
