For me it's BORING TECHNO with a psychedelic influence !!!!!! It gave me a headache listening to it ... Rating : 0.5/

Guest skincom[at]mullum[dot]com[dot]au
This is the saffi bros or some of them i think, not someone called montauk p.Some tracks are harsh and drive deep into the inner recesses of your brain. An album to have in your collection as some tracks such as elektroid and av unit really pump the floor. I like the use of fat poly sythns for the bassline instead of the more generic 303 sound ,inventive and original.Turn the page is a true classic. rating 8.5/10. I remember the lizard man. Love and light Richard:-)
Guest Slidingtrancer
To start with , don't let ' this is boring techno' keep you from buying this masterpiece. This is full-on inventive techno and anyone with an ear for something different will buy this immediately. When i played turn the page on a party last week , the crowd went completely crazy. All goa/psytrance fans seem to have this and enjoy this. I bought it with that idea in my head and wasn't dissapointed. It's just the best techno I've heard in years even though I don't like Gabriel Le Mar ( who made this). Gabriel's song on DG 8 really sucked as well as other stuff I heard from him. Def=Lim on the contrary is pure techno. People who enjoy psytrance seem to like psychedelic techno as the difference isn't that big. If you are one of these people, you'll play this for years and years. The production is very nicely done( listen this with earphones) and all songs have a nice touch to them. My favourite is Turn the Page. All other tracks come very close to that. Just buy this stuff, none of my feeble words can describe this earwax. 10/10. DeathPosture
Despite the bad reviews here, I couldn't resist buying this when I found it on sale for as little as £2,5 ... And it really isn't that bad... Sure it would be wrong to lable this "psychedelic", but still I like it... 7/10! Bom shankar!
Guest heierli[at]library.ethz[dot]ch
Perfect party sound. Fast and full of power. The melodies are in the Background, the foreground is the package. There are some phantastic tracks (and a good, very psychedelic intro with computer voices). I like it a lot. My favourites are Elektroid, Av Unit and Def=Lim. When you love (how I) minimalism AND melodies then is Gabriel Le Mar the solution. With Montauk P Gab produce hard and minimal sounds, with the solo project "Gabriel Le Mar" slow and warm ambient stuff. This CD is perfect for partys, but only to hear a little bit boring. 8/
Guest djresonance[at]yahoo[dot]com
Don't let the bad reviews discourage you from buying this album. I picked it up because I heard the opening track on blueroom's 'trip through sound II' (also by montauk p) and loved it. I wasn't dissapointed by the album, it's great! Especially if you can listen to it on a loud soundsystem or in a car with some subwoofers. Elektroid is my favorite track, it's very catchy and almost puts you into a trance when you're listening to it. 9/
.desiml
This is truely an incredible album. Michael Kohlbecker and Gabriel le Mar are such a dynamic duo. Do not listen to the moronic bad reviews here. 9/10. Buy it! Lizardman, Def=Lim, Pham, Av Unit, & Turn the Page are some of the best shite I have ever heard. Deep, dark, atmospheric tech-trance at its best. Pham is one of the only 2 songs ever to actually put me into a trance, along with Sven Vath's Robot.
