Guest chleroux[at]nordnet[dot]fr
V/A - Dementertainment Artist: Various Title: Dementertainment Label: Twisted Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 07'57" Prometheus Process : Clarity From Deep Fog 02. 09'06" Beast : Spawn 03. 07'20" Infernal Machine : Norturnal Chainsaw Kerfuffle 04. 06'35" Infernal Machine : Lion King (Man With No Name Rmx) 05. 07'15" Psykov : Megalithic 06. 08'49" Hallucinogen : Spiritual Antiseptic 07. 08'14" FAT : Hundreds of Sunsets (Mono Mix) 08. 08'00" X-Dream : Rain Review: Very happy to heard a compil of Twisted Records, but this one is not Hallucinogen spirit, even if main of the songs are Simon Posford's co-operation with other artists. People who don't like a kind of minimalist Trance psychedelic, like TIP's cds actually, certainly don't like this one. Mainly of the songs are "fuzz-and-buzz" effects with a Simon's touch. As always the Hallucinogen song is great. The X-dream one is a bit "peacefull" (but good too) compare to the rest of the musics. Notice that this cd contain an interactive track. We can found pictures and informations about artists of Twisted Records, and some (very short) RealAudio songs. Nothing more than the Twisted Records Site... This compil is a great minimalistic Trance Psychedelic, but with time and loop-play, it will be bore you Rating: 7.5/
Guest tj
This album is really great, worthy of anyone's collection Rating: 10/
freak51
Chleroux stole my thunder. Nice at first, but has no staying power. Spiritual Antiseptic is a good track, noisy and hard though. 1, 2, 5 and 7 are horrible though.
Guest snow
the best psychedelic compilation u'll find anywhere.
Guest a_ozi
True this album has no staying power. Its a fast horse for short courses... Confused?... i mean that it has its moments on the floor, and still sounds pretty fresh, especially the FAT trak, BUT... I puke on the umpteenth release of RAIN by xdream, and already had Prometheus and Hallucinogen tracks, also the interactive session was an overhyped wank, with no secret section... things like this should take you to a website with bonus unreleased track or something. A demented 4.5/
Guest vasquez[at]email[dot]dk
VERY NOISY! But not in the same way as "The Digital Dance of Shiva" this one can really go through your ears and right to the middle of the Brain -9/
Guest Ehsanur
Oki,lets make some clearance here! The first two songs are just time&money waste! Then it gets slightly better and track 4 is all good. Next song by Posford and some Israeli-guy is great. I never expect to get disappointed by Posford. Thats why I like Spiritual Antiseptic. I dunno, what did Posford's mother eat during pregnancy???? hehehhe FAT is average, nothing to give away flowers for. oki, some of X-Dreams tendencies are a bit questionable. This song is well-made,but the melody is too happy and sometimes its good and sometimes its kinda wierda cheezy. The start is at least very bad. And now I am pissed off hearing T.I.P is releasing minimalistic dark trance. What a piss! Most of their new releases are ambient-oriented and what a blessing for my chillout-times!! The same ppl critizing T.I.P,embraces german-ultradark-minimalistic-bang-bong-music which doesn't work for me these days. 7/10-Bom Shankar Ehsanti Brahman
Guest rmoench[at]hotmail[dot]com
No offense, but just what in the hell are all you talking about? Spawn and Clarity from Deep Fog are time-wasters? What are you not smoking? Those two tracks are unbelievable. Process and Hallucinogen and the Beast are minimalistic? Are your speakers made of lego? Those tracks, and everything Sean Process, Benji Vaughn, and Simon Posford do, are realms of the human imagination rendered into sound. 9.5/
Guest master_illusion[at]hotmail[dot]c
I do agree with the guy above."Clarity from Deep Fog" is one of the best tracks EVER made, I wish process and protheus could collaborate together again.... Guest [Anonymous]
Yeah me too! Spawn is probably the best trance can offer us, pure sound, pure melodies and killers FX all the way? Have you just heard how boomy is end of this song? This is Jewel! On the other hand, i can understand, clairity from deep fog is harder to understand. But i still think it's a very good track, you'll just need some time to appreciate to work of these guys. Honestly, have you ever heard such organic sounds and FXs?? mahoney
Hey.. just want to say that this is a masterpiece. Like all the tracks,, specially rain, hallucinogen and Norturnal Chainsaw Kerfuffle (on of the best I´ve ever heard!
Guest wheredidulearntoread?
The lad who commented my review: You did not get my point! I did not say that Hallucinogen,Beast or Process are minimalistic! I was just commenting the fact that people tend to describe the TIP's relases as minimalistic and not very interesting (another debate). I have never in any part of my review claimed any of the songs to be minimalistic,on the contrary I've enjoyed most of the songs here. And I've listened to it now (almost two years since I've got) and song 2 is now very appreciated. But this compiliation has a superior: Demented. Still,it is filled with Posford-atmosphere (i.e: yeah!) and I still don't like the X-Dream track. The next guy who questions my liking of Simon Posford should think twice, cause yes..he is the master of sound (i.e: my God). And to clarify further: I dont hate minimalistic trance ;-) Up and at'em! Guest Vir2alExp
THIS IS A GREAT comp. from one of the best (TWISTED RECORDS WITH POSFORD) i don't under stan why so many rather have Demented. this is loud psychedelic with the lovely track from Infernal Machine (Isen't Walter Ego allso Posford?) But anyway Norturnal Chainsaw Kerfuffle is one of the best tracks on this comp. but the track from Spawn is also Nice. GREAT COMP!!!! 9/

Guest MG
Where the fuck does that last guy come from??? what's going on there? Anyway, I have owned this CD for about 2 years give or take, I agree with the site in this being a classic compilation. The first two tracks on this CD are brilliant, I can imagine with both of these tracks the artists in a garage or something with their friends all playing an electronic instrument jamming and feeding off each other, each guy pulling a face each time a new sound coming in and the others just going "FUCK YEAH". it's brilliant for that jamming effect it has, can anyone else hear it? With this said tr.3 shouldn't be played loud anywhere, if I was stucki in an elevator with this track I would vomit after the 3rd play & slip on my vomit trying to rip the speaker out on the 4th tr.4 is MWNN remix which I am just not into, I can only take him in small doses. tr.5 is just Acid Humour's theme music. Spiritual Antiseptic also rocks as does Fools & Tools, I have since given this CD away as a gift to a friend who gets much more out of this CD than me, & I bought on vinyl the prometheus process/hallucinogen single & soon I am buying Beast on vinyl!!! As good as this CD is, I can't listen to more than once a week!
Guest Diepeveen
Very nice comp... - Bought some time ago, just before my very first trip to Goa - Best tracks are: 1,3,4,6,8 - The rest is not that good - 7,5/
Guest Psykerö
Two killer tracks here: 1 and 2.. and those are quite full-on sound with lots of strange and psychedelic effects on it.. track 3 is good too but rest of the cd is.. well.. crap! seraph
As good as demented....Some classics and some not that interesting songs. best are : 1,2,3,7,8. 7.5/

Guest lifeform
Spawn is my all time favorite psychedelic track. Everything you need right there. A waste of time...? You should be shot in the head cause this shit rocks.
Trance2MoveU
This is a psychedelic wet dream. A mixture of goa and psytrance this compilation is detailed and for lack of a better word...noisy. I found I appreciated it more when isolated so I could concentrate on the copious amount of effects. Simon Posford and his brand of controlled entropy are all over this where all the tracks are riddled with constantly evolving subplots. Tie a rope around your waist and dive into this vivid journey. Penzoline
Slipped under my radar. You could basically consider this a Simon Posford album, or Posford and friends. This is definitely some great old school psy.
