Anoebis
Carl says here that the track of Chi-ad. is great, and he's right it's my personal nr 1!!But you can find it on another compilation as this (bad) one!! The other compilations is "Dream Creation"!! It's a wonderful cd that's also on Our Psytrance-page... Enjoy it!! Bom Shankar
Guest carl[at]sigurjonsson[dot]net
V/A - Destination Goa 6 Artist: Various Title: Destination Goa 6 Label: Goldhead Date: 1998 Track listing: CD 1 01. 07'34" Tristan And A Green Nun : Babylon N Thing 02. 07'44" E-Rection : Out Here We Are Stoned (X-Dream Rmx) 03. 08'43" Psychopod : Friagram (GMS Rmx) 04. 07'48" Astral Projection : Solid Electronics 05. 08'34" Miranda : Riding Alien 06. 08'18" Space Cat : Space Cats 07. 08'53" Planet BEN : No Pro One (Monotone Mix) CD 2 01. 07'27" Kayseri : Electric 02. 05'45" Synchro : F Buckets 03. 06'02" Somaton : Fearful Symetry 04. 09'01" MFG : Process Irreversible (The Passenger Rmx) 05. 08'45" Chi-ad : Eye Am The I 06. 08'04" Har-Ell : New Life 07. 06'10" SUN Project : Statistic Review: OK, This chapter is one of the worst DG chapters.. First song Babylon N ting.. eeh let's just skip to next track, really not my favorite track! I can't say if this remix by x dream is better than the original, because I have never heard it. Anyway, I like this track for the x-dream sound and the vocals. next track is another remix, and by another famous group with unique sounds, weird and crazy, this track is no exception.. mm next track by astral projection, this one unreleased. it sounds just like soundform on Dancing galaxy, but worse! Not the best track by AP and if it were it would definitely NOT fit in on this CD. Riding alien is awesome, I would say the best on this CD. Space Cats is pretty good, especially the last two minutes! Last track I can't even understand.. CD2 starts with electric, and it actually isn't that bad from what you could expect of kayseri, it's "okay" =) I have never liked synchro and this track convinces me even more. Finally some speed, fearful symetry is a good track. I guess the next two tracks saves this compilation of being pure crap!!! MFG process irreversible (passenger Rmx) is AWESOME!! and CHI-AD that everyone should know of, is not just awesome, IT RULES!! Best song of destination GOA. What a wonderful way of discovering one of your favorite songs, it just beats the shit out of the rest on this compilation! =) Next track is rather slow, pretty nice track. The Final track is pretty good. If you can't find CHI-AD anywhere except on this compilation. then you really should buy it, if not.. Don't waste your money on this crap!!! 6/
Guest kaaton[at]yahoo[dot]com
MFG really kicks my ... so does HAR-EL. Friagram is also one of my all time favourites. Thanks guys !! Big time with it!
Guest dogx[at]yahoo[dot]com
What are you saying?? The best track on this comp. is, acording to my taste, Out here we are stoned, simply cuz its X-Dream, the greatest psy trance band ever!!!. Also, i dont think this pair of discs are as bad as said above. I would rate it at 6.5/10, 10 being "We created our own happiness", and 0 being any Phoenix track. Guest rasmus[at]hotmail[dot]com
My favorite is surely Tristan - Babylon N Ting. But a GMS remix of Psychopod' Friagram is also very exellente! songs: 1+3+4 (first disc) & 1+2+5+6 (second disc) This disc should appear on every shelf! 8/
Guest renyones
It's a great album. Carl is mistake. you waste money with total tranquillity. "Solids Electronics" doesn't is a bad track, only is diferent like a remix song. In my opinion is more hard. The best Tracks are ALL but The very best are: CD1- 2, 4, & 6. CD2- 3 & 4 because the track 5 "eye am the I" is one of the best psychedelic goa trance songs in the history of goa trance (11/10). In this album only a strain: CD2 track 2 (synchro) (4/10) Rest of album (9/10)
Guest Diepeveen
I really like this comp. it was one of my first goa cd's, and therefore it holds a special place in my heart along with Hallucinogen's "The Lone Deranger"... I like all tracks on cd 1, but Planet Ben is a little monotone... Cd 2 starts out with a Robert Jarnroth track, and it shows: bad soundquality a repetitive... I've never liked Synchro and track 2 did'nt make me change my mind! But ahh track 3, Somation (Shakta) delivers a fast pumping killer! - Very psychedelic... Track 4 is a goldie from MFG... Very good dark stuff! And track 5 is just amazing! One of Chi-AD's best tracks ever! Har-El delivers a slow, a little boring track... But it has nice melodies... - Not really good though... And at last a quite boring track from SUN Project... Overall 8/10 for cd 1 and 6/10 for cd 2...
Guest extra_terrestrial[at]goatrance[d
It doesen't matter how compilation of this kind works or not cause it is not the concept compilation, it is just the collection of some classics ( Out here we are stoned, solid electronics, space cats, process irreversible, eye am the I )...and some pretty boring stuff, but all in all it is good compilation, CARL is just too much into HEROIC psy trance.... 7/
seraph
Very good compilation....Extremely psychedelic....Both discs are good with good choice of artists and songs...Best on CD 1 : 1,2,3,4,6,7...9/10 and CD 2 : 1,2,3,4,5,6....9/10... Guest transphere
This one is perhaps the hardest and most full-on of all DG's. Best songs are Passenger's remix of MFG - Process Irreversible and Chi-A.D.'s "Eye Am The I". Since I prefer minimal stuff I can't give more than 4/10 to this compilation. Guest Artifex
I really enjoyed this DG too. I find Kayseri´s track Electric really good and MFG tunes where really kick in these cd´s. Really great DG.
Deepdrone
Awesome ! Favorite tracks cd 1 : #2, cd 2 : #4 (divine), #7, and Eye Am The I stays beside them.
Guest Cosmogenesis
An "Amazing" compilation with different styles of goa inside! My two favorites tunes here are, no doubt, "Eye Am the I" (maybe the best Chi-a.d. masterpiece ever produced!) ex-aequo with "Solid Electronic" from Astral Projection, which we can recognize some similarities with the "Soundform" track from the "Dancing Galaxy" lp. I have listened only one part of "Solid Electronic" in the World of Goa Compilation vol1 (Zyx records), and I was really surprised when I have heard for the first time the end of it, with this awesome last melodic vibe's variation! Of course, the Passenger remix and the "Fearful Symetry" track by Somaton (Shakta's other project) are also very psychedelic and powerful. X-Dream remix of E-Rection classic tune is very emotional and still "psychoactive" every time I'm listening it: X-Dream back in their best days!
