Guest Kadafi
Sonic Fusion - Discovery Artist: Sonic Fusion Title: Discovery Label: Hadshot Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 00'17" Intro 02. 09'22" The Abyss 03. 06'27" Congopium 04. 07'10" Drum Phenomenon 05. 08'32" Tribox 06. 05'55" Mono Tone 07. 06'29" Kaang 08. 08'10" Ghost 09. 05'45" The Flash 10. 05'45" Crime In Paradise 11. 07'17" Gao Yao 12. 08'26" Outro Review: A true surprise this is here...very entrancing music with fast tribal rhythms + the psychedelic touch... brings you in trance quickly that's for sure...the style is various; some have the progressive vibe which we all know nowadays, some sound a little to technoisch imo, some are full-on percussion, some have melodies, etc.. but the main thing is that it's always kept very repetitive... The intro is a weird sentence that makes sense somehow... T2 is one of my favorites: nice progressive trancy tune with excellent rhythms...T3 congafury! to bad the cimbals make it sound technoisch...T4 sounds like you're marching along in a carnival...T5 is good but T6 is muchos better!my favorite; an ultimately powerfull tribal trancetrack that starts with a "do"-tone (which simply holds on till the end) followed by a massive congaloop! 10/10... T7 is a good one again and sounds more like 'usual' psychedelic trance, trancy kickbass and well placed sounds... T8 is good to; hard and spooky... T9: fast ?psycore?, the title says it all... T10 acidic-percussion... T11: good percussionloops again... So in short: I like all of it except for maybe 3&4... best ones are: 6& 2... I'd give this a 8/10! Guest DJ Supernova
i was very disappointed with this one. first of all, i don't think it's nearly as good as their first album. it's really monotonous if you ask me. their first album was more dynamic and interesting. most of the tracks on this one has the same rhythm throughout the whole track. i highly suggest you listen before you buy. 6/10 from me. Guest kadafi
...dèmm... I gave this album to much... change the 8 to a 7/10... It's monotonous, you're right... and the sound isn't optimal...but I don't think it's horribly bad at all... LISTEN BEFOR YOU BUY indeed...tracks 2&6 still please me... :-) ...over and out...
