Guest gizmomarek[at]hotmail[dot]com
Ololiuqui - Dito Artist: Ololiuqui Title: Dito Label: Spirit Zone Date: 1996 Track listing: 01. 07'34" Olo Garden 02. 06'30" Phyt 03. 06'54" Prisma 04. 07'03" Voltage 05. 06'40" Chitty Bang 06. 06'56" Swampin 07. 07'22" Stay Tuned 08. 05'13" Rock'n Gargl 09. 05'50" Argonaut (Live 96) 10. 06'37" Summerbreak (Live 96) Review: Volker Konig (A.M. Synaptik)& Olli Elschenbroich made a good work. Album "Dito" is, I think much better then th second one "Valves". It's deep, dark, trancy, minimalistic, but also very energetic production. The best tracks are 1st "Olo-Garden" (funky, trippy-ambient track) And the 2nd "Phyt" (dark with strong bass) The other tracks are also very good with the same mysterious climate. The last 2 (live) tracks are little lighter. "Argonaut" is more melodic with softer drums, "Summerbreak" - slow, quiet , good for the end of the album. I Intend You to get this album, cause it's in very original style production And it's also very good album. 7.8/

Guest hitch-hiker
This rulez for sure... nice india/orient melodies, but only in the background, not becoming annoying or repetitive! It's nice, floating and calm psytrance still hard and dark... wonderfull, mindblowing... no favourite track, yet! If you don't like it, you probably don't like psytrance at all ;-)

Guest heierli[at]mails[dot]ch
Yes, Ololiuqui is good. Dito is a good piece with some nice tracks. At the begining and the end contains the cd two ambient tracks. The middle are melodic and sometimes oriental tracks, really good. My favourite tracks are Olo Garden, Prisma and Swampin. Rating: 9/10. (Last time i have see after a recherche in a swiss CD-Database, that A. M. Synaptik have made in the middle of the 90's Hardcore-Shit on Terrordrome (wich ridicolous name) with his Neuwerk Project. Good that he make now TRUE music.) Guest zynnikk[at]addcom[dot]de
For me, this album was the key to the world of psytrance. I still love it. Track 6, "Swampin" never fails to make me stomp through my room.....

Oopie
Indeedy! This album is lovely. A sort of minimal, but still bursting with ideas. Something psy-genre hadn't heard back then, or after! All the tracks have their own flava, a spicy one if I may add. ;-> I find all the tracks trippi and full of imagination, perfect for home listening. I've listened to this album god knows how many times, and every time it still delivers, perhaps because there's so much beneath the surface. Did I mention the cover art is the coolest? Spirit Zone sure knew how to make engaging package around good music back then! Get it if you have the chance <

Radi I got your "light goa trance" I mean this is not ground breaking but so cool listening, doing something else, drinking coffee, chatting with friends, watching football on TV don't expect killer mastering, just quality chill goa trance, there is a chill side in this album that I really enjoy. Best tracks: Phyt, Voltage, Swampin, Argonaut, and of course Chitty bang!
