Guest psygroove
Yeeeeesssss, I am not a minimal fan at all and was a little disappointed by their last album Meter, but this one is a true masterpiece... I downloaded it and then bought it right away as this is a must for my collection. Check track 1,2,3,4,8, they are the most powerfull ones, also some ambient (?) tracks as well, PLUR
Guest bauer[at]scheune[dot]net
verry nice album for all the tech-trance heads ... only track 9 is not really my style the rest especially tracks 1,2,5 and 6 are great.
ouroboros
well ive just given it a first listen. a very good album indeed. if you like the m.o.s. style then you will not be disappointed. all the familliar elements (no pun intended) are there without getting old or boring. i personaly dont think this is much of a step forward from meter and i actualy like meter better as i think meter more powerfull, but drive is still a strong offering. maybe not a "must" have but definatly a "should" have. of course its only my first listen and we all know how these things tend to get better the more you listen. for right now i give it 7.5/
Guest wesker[at]micanet[dot]it
MOS - Drive Artist: MOS Title: Drive Label: Global Trance Network Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'22" Bang 02. 06'12" Coming 03. 07'14" Dead Flat 04. 07'30" Respirator 05. 08'02" Fixed 06. 06'33" Trauma 07. 08'08" In Time 08. 07'24" Zugstufe 09. 08'40" Afterbite Review: M.O.S. is back and this time the sound is great...much better that the disappointing meter, it's a crossover between bug and meter, with the sound of the first, better recording, and the power of the second lp...tracks are powerful, dark and groovy in the first half of the cd, tracks 5,6 are breakbeat tracks, track 7 its' like the firsrt part of the cd while the last two tracks are a little more morning style...Tracks are not so varied but the sound kicks the ass and it's much better than a lot of minimal psy around here, and the dark atmosphere and electronic sounds of bug are back!!! Guest chriller
Great album, I get this weird feeling listening to the songs--I suppose thats what they wanted it to do. I love it.
Guest Nois
Yeah... About the vinyl versions, the psy-trance scene is slowly but constantly converting itself into cd-mixing scene. Not a half of compilations and albums is released on vinyl. Not good. MOS = 100% dancefloor burn guarantee Cheers.
Guest yan84[at]aquanet[dot]co[dot]il
MOS IS BEST & THEY ARE GREAT & THEY ALL 3 ALBUMS SOUND'S WONDERFUL TO ME
Guest Lahav
Very good CD I can hardly stop it, nice style of MOS my favourite track is number 2 very very powerfull, and look out - something is coming...I didn't like track 6 old style, and I didn't like it at all so I'll give this cd 810, because I didn't hear something as good as this this year, and I'm talking about the whole cd... Guest russ
i loved bug. i loved the sound of meter but not the structure and arrangements so much. Drive combines the best of both into a psychedelic, dance-floor burning masterpiece. this is the BOMB. i think they have the biggest sound around right now. this is even better than the new X-Dream and Midimiliz in my opinion, and it is MUCH better than the Delta. good god, this is going to rip up the dance floors this summer...pure drive...dark hypnotic bliss. every single track is a killer, the downtempo ones are both killers too. this is far and away the best release since son kite's "perspectives of..." last year, with the same massive, monumental production, but for the night. as far as production standards go, for me this is the new benchmark, along with the Son Kite/Trimatic/Filur sound. some might say it is derivative of the marcus/jan/arne/wayan crew, and they might be right, but that doesn't take anything away from this achievment, because it's BETTER than X-Dream. the first part of the album tears your head off, the middle slows the beat but keeps the intenisty high and stretches your mind, and the final part settles you into a deep groove, before finishing with a track of quiet rolling beauty..coming soon this summer to a big sound system near you... 10/10!!!! p.s. the MOS remix of ticon's "mammoth hunters" on Digital Structures is also a huge 10/10. highly recommended. Guest Shaq
Best track is ZUGSTUFE...absolutely brilliant! I like BANG too. The others are ok..but fairly average. Don't really like the down tempo ones. Overall a good album though. 7/

Guest Tomvcarter
A very good album, better than Meter, which was also very good, 8/10 (dont like downtempo tracks 6,7)
Guest transphere
9.5/10... buy or die, this album should _everyone_ have in his collection.
freak51
This is a really pretty release. Once again, I find the sound definition is not so hot, but it is better than Meter. Enough quibbling - over big beer/testosterone thumping worn-out old speakers, it'll sound like everything else. The direction is back towards retro-ish trance, lots of delay and sustain. This is no bad thing, M.O.S. never lets it turn into mushy cheese. There have been a few top-quality CD releases in 2002, and I'd say this belongs in that class. Better than X-Dream? I don't think so. Worth buying? Definitely. 9/10 from me.
las22
dead flat rocks for me ...at this moment DRIVE is the best album of this year ! good job
Guest jigga
heard quite a few of the tracks on this one . really good. I've got both mos's other cd's and bug for its time was brillaint .. the 2nd one was good, but like few ppl have said it was different .. aint nothing wrong with that .. you just couldnt go sick at a partie with some of those trax as you could with the first one. I believe this has changed for this new cd , every tack i've heard has a good beat and melodie to it .. sounds like they've mixed element and bug together and gotten drive .. literally its good stuff .. I thought this cd would be a stinka from the global trance netwrok + I saw mos live last year and they were ok , but not great, but it turns out to be a great release along with other new released cdz from x-dream, wizzy noise and logic bomb. 8.9/10 .. their best work yet
Guest Pamela
Ahhhh...the best of MOS. 'Respirator'...flipped me out entirely...10/10. This was meant to play L-O-U-D, and not on chickenshit speakers. MOS, see ya in Belgium in August...
soem aeld
I love the first part of the CD (tracks 1-4)! Oh yeah! The rest is great too, but kinda dissapointing after hearing the first trax and expecting the other to be as techtrancy as them.. 8.5/
