Guest Ubik Posted September 3, 2001 Posted September 3, 2001 Atmos - Drums Don't Stop Artist: Atmos Title: Drums Don't Stop Label: Naja Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 10'20" Drums Don't Stop 02. 08'20" Biorhythm Review: Quite chilled and spacy tracks from Atmos, in the same style than his album Headcleaner. Drums Don't Stop, my favourite here, is the harder of the two tracks and, as the name implies, has a good rythmic section. In the fifth minute, some light sounds appears and then the drums start kicking again, with a stronger bass. Biorythm builds up slowly and has a nice bass change in the middle, accompanied by a sample I don't really like that goes like "what you do is suck in deep, and then hold it until it hurts". Overall a good release. Quote

Guest Mescalinium Posted September 3, 2001 Posted September 3, 2001 Drums Don't Stop is certainly one of my favorite Atmos tracks. I love the didgeridoo-like sound that comes in the second half of the song. Great sample too. All around, one of my best records. 9/10 Quote
