Symphonix : Druids 08. D-Vei : Nation Review: To be honest I just bought this album because there are two Silent Sphere tracks on it. Silent Sphere is a Swiss psy project I've seen live several times and I like very much. But now I have to say I like the CD very much. The first track is one of my favourite, it's in the typical Silent Sphere style with hard beat and nice melody, definitely a highlight on the comp. The second track by DJ Examino & Setherian is too progressive for me, that doesn't mean it's bad but I don't dig music that is too progressive. Sesto Sento's Sentomental starts also progressive but then evolves into a more melodic track, very nice! Atomic Pulse delivers another track in his well-known fashion, if you like his other stuff you will also like this one. Then comes track number 5, another one of my favourites. It starts progressive then comes a guitar melody that reminds me a little bit of Celtic Cross style. Then my very favourite track comes: Confuse from Silent Sphere. It is melodica again with samples of gregorian monk chants, this sounds awesome! The last two tracks are a little slower but not quite ambient. They are slightly melodic and also nice. After all I can say that there are three extraordinary tracks on this compilation (both Silent Sphere and the Herbal Essence one) and the rest is also ok. I hope you give it a try! Quote
