Guest hoffy[at]partlycloudy[dot]com
Going by the reviews on this page, the sets i've seen from Mr. P, and the general reaction he recieves from the Psy Trance scene... i'd say that Hallucinogen and Infected Mushroom are going to have some *serious* competition really really soon.... PS The album, if you haven't figured it out yet, is FUCKING AWESOME.

Guest Coombsey, cummas[at]telstra[dot
Congratulations dusty! Am yet to hear this album as it was released after i left australia for the next year, but to all you psy lovers out there, i can very strongly recommend that you go out and purchase this album. Mr. Peculiar has been destroying the dancefloor all over the australian landscape for the past few years. As the talent in australia is not on a par with the rest of the world, sure it is out there but the sheer volume of music coming out of other regions of the world can make australia seem like we are out of the link, Mr P has had to rescue some parties from the depths and he has never failed to deliver. His style is very individual, with great use of effects intertwined with killer basslines and elements of percussion. But the outstanding element of Mr P's work is his production - on a par with anything i have heard from all over the world. He has been working very hard on that aspect and im sure you will be impressed when you hear the superb sounds coming out of the tribeadelic lair. Once again...thanks Mr P for delivering what will no doubt be one of the debut albums of the year, if not ever. Special thanks to Ozzy too for bringing us this music. With Mr P, Ozzy and Fractal Glider at the forefront of Melbourne and Australia's psy scene, the future looks extremely bright for australian psychadelia. Congrats! Guest Goa Spirit
very nice album from mr. peculiar.. very very psychedlic with that amazing acid feel of power throughout this one... the style is good goa dancefloor stuff... lots of bubbling noises, and catchy grooves leave no doubt that this one is for a good cid party.... but even apart from that, this stuff is very good.. especially the last half of the album.. there are some moments here which make me tingle.... my favorites here are 7 and 9... other stuuf is good too... a must have,.. Guest jigga
the cd sounds ok .. heard it all before, mr peculiars sets never really blow me away .. charlies trip wasnt a bad track on the liquid cd but even that after sometime annoyed me. Aussie psy apart from anything psy harmonics does seems to borrow alot from current or old trends and never really sounds original. all the music is good , dont get me wrong, but aussie artists dont generally push psy boundaries. their happy to sit on the fence make similar music with a slight twist and let others do the boundary moving nnd then they something different. Mr peculiar beats spacetribe & sugar (what cd on this websites doesnt shit all over sugar's work?) but no where enjoyable or refreshing as anything psyharmonics put out. This cd is up there with fractal gliders new cd ... (altho i'd rate fractal as better psy producer cuz his sets r way better n interesting that peculiars sets) over 6.5/10 not bad, but borrows to much of artists like infected/gms that ppl r already slowly getting sick of. buy it if yer happy to stay where you r in psy. Guest Captain Chapora
jigga, you may call charlies trip his best track, but i think that is where all the people who reviewed this album disagree with you.. this album leaves charlies trip far behind in some indoors location, this album is for the outdoors and oh my is it psychedelic.... mr. peculiar has blow me away like no other new artist has in a long time... this guy is very good, somewhat like a space tribe, but with more intelligently constructed music... the aussies have stormed back into the scene this year, first it was fractal glider and now mr. peculiar, this is the kind of trance that people like me like to hear.,,, keep on those orange flash sounds australia,,, mr. peculiar is a mental eye candy album, i can only imagine what this would sound like on hoffies... Guest Monkey
my friend got a cdr copy of this from me, he had never heard trance before. now he wants more. he is a high school history teacher in massachusetts, and just told me that they now listen to mr peculiar while working on projects in class. in a public high school! the students claim that they feel like it helps them think more efficiently. nice work mister. Guest Digital Brain
Mr. Pecuiliar is a realy nice refreshment. Lots of interesting sounds but why the same new school bass lines. I realise that that is "in" but do you have to be so like the others. The melodies are kinda nice though. Allround, a good album. Keep up the peculiar work. Best track no6. 7.5/
