Anoebis
Feuerhake - Excess All Areas Artist: Feuerhake Title: Excess All Areas Label: Free Form Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'34" Glowing Nights 02. 07'01" Let's Take 03. 08'40" Gammelsvensk 04. 06'12" La Aurora 05. 07'29" Select 06. 08'57" Delight Express 07. 07'19" Bombay Blues 08. 06'48" Make Love! Review: The second CD of Feuerhake (aka Klangstrahler Project) and he evoluated since his last CD's... This CD is more dance-orientated, but for the morning hours... The style is a bit like Atmos, but his music is richer... 1st song is 100% morning-Trance with a soft & groovy beat and very mellow sounds and digeridoo-samples... The second song is the same style, but a little faster, AND with a terrible female-voice sample... (( 3d one is very groovy with tribal drums, but the sounds are too techno-ish imo!! Number 4 is a véry good and original, danceable song with a beautiful Spanish-guitar and trumpet... nr. 5 gives us more morning-trance with a good used (and mellow) guitar, nothing more is happening though... (( The 6st song is an Ambient-song with guitars, but I don't like it. Bombay Blues is danceable again, and as the name suggest the song is India-influenced... There are Tablas and Sitars in the song that give an exotic feeling... Nice one!! This CD ends with a bad ! song, sounds almost housy... If you are a Klangstrahler/Feuerhake-fan, buy it, otherwise you can better buy his former albums, cuz they were better for sure!! Only 2 standouts here, number 4&7!! All together 6/10. I must also say the cover of they first album was great, but this one is awful!! Bom Shankar.

Guest Jonny-Jukebox & SyNtAx ErRoR
Oooo this is so nice, much groove but not to hard. In other words: The way it should be 9/
Guest Acidhive
Great funky and warm sounding piece of psytrance here, bridging between melodic and minimal styles. Great production here and all tracks have something special. I don't own the previous Feuerhake cd, but I'm trying to find that one too. This one pleasantly surprised me I must say... Definition : Atmos, but richer sounding and indeed Funkier like didge above says... ! I'd give it 8,5/10 (could have been a 9 if they'd put another song on it, because now the cd is only approx. 61 minutes long) :-)
Guest [Anonymous]
Horrible cover! It looks like it's Snoop Doggy Dogg album or something, not a trance album. Some of the songs on here are really groovy though.

Guest Le Lotus Bleu
(Stefan) Feuerhake is a german artist from Hamburg, which has been released on some novetekk compilation, he made this album with help of Gero Bode (Klanstrahler Project) & Okay Candan. As i’m pretty sure lots of people missed this album when it was released in 2001 & that groovy morning trance is quite trendy nowadays, i think good writing a review about it coz it could fit to lots of people. Tracklist: 1. Glowing Magiks 2. Let’s Take 3. Gammel Svensk 4. La Aurora 5. Select 6. Delight Express 7. Bombay Blues 8. Make Love ! Feurhake has a special groove which is fat made of big & bouncy basslines like in Glowing Magik. In this one you’ll find a floating morning break in his middle, hitting melody & also several catching fluffy floating tones. In Let’s Take, the melody played at funkyguitar is smoother with a very floating background. After you get some discret percussions added for the rythmic. With Gammel Svensk the melody is going a bit more asiatic sounding, the whole thing is more nervous with soft resonnating electric guitar riffs. La Aurora is a bit more famous due to appearance on some compilation, it’s probably the maddest track of the album , even if all tracks always possess a more or less hint of crazyness. You take the usual fat Feuerhake groove, you add a big latin spanish influences through the accoutic flamenco guitar melody, the mexican trumpetta background notes & some castanets beat spreaded with parcimony all over. Select is about more muffled atmosphere, with some funky guitar riffs, & several funny (some in a robotic way , hiccuping robot indeed) jerked sounds skipping off. The discret percussions are quite present along the track. Delight Express is more midtempo with a nice indian flute part & some other indian sonic environnements, could be perceived as some indian funk style. Keeping the indian spirit with woman voice & tones clashing with blues crooner deep voice & guitar , another weird concept make with the heavy Feurhake groove. At first the music experience could reveal very confused, but it works. Last one Make Love !, is fill in with funky guitars from everywhere, a woman strew soft murmurs all along & present us sometimes with an injunction ‘make love’, very dancefloor, fresh & living : a fucking great trance-funkadelic production. Recommended 9/

Manuser
Yes, very cool album, this is not psychedelic trance, but groovy and oriental. The result is very good, except the first track which is mediocre (Glowing nights, boring melodies), I enjoy the whole album, especially 2. Let’s Take, 3. Gammel Svensk. and... ...definitely nice cover.
