Anoebis
V/A - Experience Artist: Various Title: Experience Label: Neurobiotic Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. Parasense : Frozen 02. Droidlock : LSD 03. Etnica : Warriors 04. Earthling : Microscopic 05. Color Drops : Jazz Is Dead 06. Rastaliens : Bamboo Bola 07. Spiritual : Jalan Jalan 08. Bigwigs : Moc Paproci 09. Vacuum : Merygar Review: The first compilation from a new Italian label, and it's a very intersting start!! The first song is immediately dancefloor orientated and véry psychedelic stuff from one of those upcoming groups... But Parasense has also done better... Song 2 is also dark stuff with a véry powerfull bassline and many cool sound effects, but... the use of the famous "LLllSSSsssDDddd"-sample is not good at all!! The next song is a dissapointment!! This is boring stuff from Etnica... They tried to make more progressive stuff but they fail here (imo)! Song 4 is 100% GMS-style, so not innovative but good for dancing. Song 5 is truly a bomb... Although I don't understand the title!! We continue with the same dark style with a mediocre rastaliens song but after that you have the best 2 songs from this compilation!! Spiritual' song is rather slow, very rhytmic, dark but not really minimalistic and also pretty hypnotising!! Song 8 is even better!! It reminds me on "Trippin Trolls" on the "Psy! choactive Scandosounds 2" compilation!! But this song is even more hypnotising because of the weird but cool bassline!! This one is a killer! The last song is rather freestyle ambient/downtempo... All together a good debut with up to date trance that is not really minimal!! 7/10!! Guest AlexG
very good compilation, but i have a different opinion about tracks than anoebis! track 1 is a good one from parasense, but doesnt really evolve or go anywhere. anyway, it'll work well on the floor. track 2 is very mediocre: droidlock are trying to make a song in the dark aggressive style, but once again there is no evolution, bad samples, and i don't like their style, so to me this is a rather bad track. track 3, however, is very good in my opinion: very groovy bassline, and just the right amount of progression: etnica kicks again! then there is earthling with a track that sounds like gms, and if anyone played this for me and asked what it is, i'd answer without a doubt that it's gms =). anyway, it's not gms, but still a very good dance track, i like it a lot. other good tracks for me are 6 (very aggressive in the beginning, just how i like it, but then a little dorky melody comes in and ruins it a little bit, but it picks up again in the end with a killer buildup), and 8 (what a twisted trip!). overall, this is a very good compilation, but i've gotta say it is not recorded very well: the middle frequencies are majorly lacking, and the bass is also weird. try harder next time, neurobotic! 8/10 for the music
Daan
A friend said about the Earthling track: "a floorfiller by GMS without the help of Bansi & Riktam" and "track by Celli & Cushi from Ibiza".

Guest pikok
BIGWIGS are most impessive track on that compilation! They put a new experimental touch in that "similar sounding" trance music... Genious from Poland!!!! 100/
Guest moander[at]media[dot]mit[dot]edu
I agree with soumyeah... earthling "microscopic" is exactly the same as soundaholics "doberman" on gms + amigos. Hey Neurobiotic! Wassup with this renaming bullshit? BTW, this cd sucks, nothing here is good, get 9 pills instead, MUCH MUCH MUCH better, about like 100 times
