Mystical Sun : Blue Magnetic Ocean 08. Solar Fields : Spiritual Ocean 09. Carbon Based Lifeforms : Metrosat 4 Review: First i have to say there's ten trax not nine on this great ambient/ethnic compilation mixed by Koala (half member of Jaia)and Ultimae team: 1 - Koala and Xentrix : Infinite Dream - Great introduction....starts slowly and builds up an excellent mood with flying/melodic synth lines, the beat appears at 4:40 as magical ... 2 - Aes Dana : Undertow - Perfect trax to fit after the first. The same magical atmosphere continues with more faster beats and melodies.Beautiful and emotionnal.I can't wait for the Aes Dana upcoming album! 3 - H.U.V.A Network : Morning Call (Ambient Version) - a cooperation between Aes Dana and Solar Fields. This "Morning Call" is one of the beautifulest i've ever heard.Every Dj who play in main dancefloor should give a little break during the sunshine in outdoor parties and play this. The voice give me shivers each times.Deep and magnificient. 4 - Cell : Spiritual Move - One of the longuest traxs (9'26).Full of great ethnic drums.Builds up slowly but strongly. The name says all.It could be another great trax to be played during the sunshine.I love the accoustic guitar and psychedelic sounds.Wide atmospheres! 5 - Solar Fields : Something Crystal - Solar Fields deliver us a first downtempo deep/psychedelic opus wich is perfectly balanced.I'm totally fulfilled by the enigma! 6 - Toires : Nabab - As you may know Toires is the "king of arabish soundscapes".Here is another great release.Florian and Loic VanPouke have both the perfect groove. It's always excellent to hear from them!Very ethnic and groovy... 7 - Carbon Based Lifeforms : MOS 6581 - In the vein of Aes Dana but different, here is another new artist who gives us a nice melodic story! The beats change suddenly around the end of the trax for the freshest!I love the spacey synth lines! 8 - Mystical Sun : Blue Magnetic Ocean - Deep, melodic, even "wet"! Super-mega soundscapes...one of my favourites to be played during 10 and noon when it's time to re-energise the mind..! 9 - Solar Fields : Spiritual Ocean - 2nd appearance here and for the best!Another trax to re-energise! Sweet and wide-opened.Slow but just enough to get all the benefits of a swim in this "Spiritual Ocean"... 10 - Carbon Based Lifeforms : Metrosat 4 - 2nd apperance too from this new excellent team (Daniel and Johannes). The slowest trax of this compilation, just to finish in beauty another great Ultimae journey! You'll find under a great flow, more ethnic than previous releases (part 1 and 2).The job is very well done.Great collector cover.Very good mastering and the mix perfectly fits to give to the listener the benefits in each traxs who are all masterpieces! As you can imagine , all traxs have something to say.Just have a look to the titles! No cheezzy stuff here, just very good ambient/downtempo compositions from a bunch of the best downtempo composers of this time. We could expect later this year an Aes Dana full album.Stay tuned for a new gem from Ultimae!
abasio
As with all Ultimae releases & in the vein of the fahrenheit project series this is very cool, smooth, beautiful ambient soundscapes. Best for me is carbon based lifeforms - Mos 6581 but they're all damn good

Yeah he can save the world, but get him around some pussy and he's a f*cking mess. Yep. Milhouse cool. This whole series reeks of fluidity and flow. All of the tracks are downtempo gems even though a lot of them are located elsewhere for the most part. To be honest I don't think the tracks are the best each of the projects have ever done, but they sound as crisp today as I imagine they did when they first came on the scene. They move from soft ambient to noisy chill, but they're so well done and the flow is excellent. The copy I have is the partially mixed repress from Ultimae and the blending of the tracks really helps carry the album along. I believe if you're a fan of downtempo or ambient then this entire series is a must in your collection.
