Review:

 

This is a very pleasant ambient CD from planet dog/ultimate. I guess most is

familiar with Makyo and astralasia but not so familiar with the rest of the

artists here.

The quality is quite even, with smooth melodic goatrancy ambient. Track 11

is the highlight being a indian sounding astralasia track with a melodic

lead that just keeps going and going in that hypnotic, mystical way

accompanied by sparse tablas and a texture of hihats. Track 3 by Optic Eye,

also known as Optica and Eyetek, is not a disappointment if you're a fan of

optica as I happen to be. Sad they haven't released anything since 97 .

I'm happy to have found this as I found it on sale by accident .

Summary: Nothing for the minimalist. Perfect. 9/10

I have Feed your Head 1 & 2 on cd. But the one you really should get is "Feed

your Head 3 - Accelerating the Alpha rythms" which I only have on LP. This

album kicks some real ass. One of my favourite ambient collections.
